Obamacare: Only 5-15% of those “enrolled” have actually paid their premiums

December 23, 2013

The mainstream media is finally catching up to the blogosphere on a little reported aspect of Obamacare which is going to have a major impact after the first of the year, and that is the fact that a person who has enrolled in Obamacare still does not have coverage until they make their first payment. The mainstream media was dragged kicking and screaming into covering this when Kathleen Sebelius admitted this was the truth when she testified before the Congress.

She is now urging the insurance companies to cover people who have not paid for their coverage. Between this news and the news that the Obama regime is allowing the insurance companies to estimate how much money is subsidies the government owes them and it is clear our new healthcare system is being run on the honor system. What could possibly go wrong?

  But wait, there is more:

When the Obama regime released its first official numbers after the website was fixed they intentionally inflated the numbers by including people who put a plan in their online shopping carts even if they hadn’t completed the process by actually clicking the ‘purchase’ button, but the news is even worse because we are now learning that of those people who did actually complete the process only about 5-15% have actually made a payment.

I am not a mathematician but as far as I can tell this means that of the paltry number of people who think they are in compliance with the law, roughly 85-95% of them are going to be in for the shock of their lives when they actually find out they do not have the coverage they think they have.

I’m gussing that 99% of those who did sign up or tried to sign up are Obama supporters, So, they can’t complain. This is what they voted for a year ago. Too bad everyone else has to suffer along with them. Probabaly the oly thing about Obamacare that is ready to function as planned are the death panels.

Yeah, I do not feel sorry for them at all but I do feel bad for the rest of us who have to suffer for this.

Seens signing up for Obamacare is somewhat like buying a lottery ticket, and its only when your number is drawn that you find out the ticket is a fake.
