Al-Qeada has captured Fallujah

January 4, 2014

It is now being reported that al-Qaeda has captured Fallujah and there are conflicting reports as to whether or not Ramadi has also been captured by the terrorist organization.

A rejuvenated al-Qaeda-affiliated force asserted control over the western Iraqi city of Fallujah on Friday, raising its flag over government buildings and declaring an Islamic state in one of the most crucial areas that U.S. troops fought to pacify before withdrawing from Iraq two years ago.

The capture of Fallujah came amid an explosion of violence across the western desert province of Anbar in which local tribes, Iraqi security forces and al-Qaeda-affiliated militants have been fighting one another for days in a confusingly chaotic three-way war.

“At the moment, there is no presence of the Iraqi state in Fallujah,” said a local journalist who asked not to be named because he fears for his safety. “The police and the army have abandoned the city, al-Qaeda has taken down all the Iraqi flags and burned them, and it has raised its own flag on all the buildings.”

Apparently somebody forgot to tell them they were on the run…..

Iraq is no longer our problem. They chose not to allow US troops to remain, thankfully. Let them solve their own problems same as our Revolutionary forefathers had to sacrifice and do for our freedom. The US is no longe r the policeman of the world.

I agree and I think we should have left Afghanistan after bin-Laden was killed. It is no longer our problem but I couldn’t resist taking a shot at Obama for lying to us about al-Qaeda being on the run.

Boy, did we ever get a good return on that investment. Thanks Obama for doing so much with the thousand of lost lives, and the billions of lost dollars.

The Obama Crescent in the middle east is slowly taking shape. Once we leave Afghanistan he can concentrate on fomenting unrest and eventual upheaval in Turkey.

Imagine if FOX or any of other sycophants in the MSM would dare to purpose such a thing?

Fox is partially owned by the Saudi’s so I wouldn’t count on it.
