67 Democrats break from Barack Obama and vote in favor of Obamacare security bill
The House has been debating an Obamacare security bill which would require the Obama regime to notify the people if and when a security breech occurred in the Obamacare website.
Considering the fact that there was virtually no security built into the healthcare website, and combined with the fact that felons can become Obamacare navigators, this seems like a reasonable idea and a necessary means to warn the people if their personal information has been compromised. However Barack Obama does not support the measure:
Even though the government is not required to notify Americans under current law if there are security breaches, the White House alleged that “the government already has plans to tell people if their information has been compromised.”
In other words: don’t worry, you can trust the regime to do what is right even though there is no law saying they have to. And besides, this legislation would be too costly, as if the Obama regime is really thinks any program is too costly.
Barack Obama has shown how untrustworthy he really is so it comes as no surprise that the House Republicans were not buying this line of BS. But what is surprising is the fact the bill passed yesterday, 291-122, with 67 Democrats breaking from the president and voting in favor of this legislation.
These Democrats know that Barack Obama’s if you like your plan you can keep your plan lie has deeply undermined his credibility with the American people to the point where they could not dare to ask their constituents to trust the president to inform them if there was a breech in the website. To do so would put their political lives in danger and that was simply something they were not willing to do.
Those 67 had better look under their cars before starting it the morning : )

So, the White House expects us to just trust them to do the right thing? I’m thinking that’s not going to happen. If history is any indication, trusting them is the last thing we should be doing.

There is a slight credibility gap there, isn’t there?

After reading what you posted, I am not surprised that the White House would say that. We all know that they are writing the ACA day by day, taking out what they don’t want or has not worked and inserting what they believe will. This is not about coverage for people that do not have any, if it was, all the money they have spent on this BEAST would have paid for years of coverage for them. We all know what it is about and all this “tweaking” makes no difference, we know what the outcome will be. I will not insult anyones intelligence and have to spell it out. The problem is, even after the 67 voted for this bill, they will go back to their usual ways. Are they ones in trouble with their voters and were told to do this, who knows! The people will vote the others that did not vote for it back in office as well as these 67. Does it really matter anymore how any of them vote? The Democratic base always seems to support them, no matter what. The Republican party might want to take a closer look at what makes a Democrat stick with their party, no matter what is going on. For some reason it is just not happening with the Republican party.
Larry, I really DO think they feel we should trust them, they know what is best for us little people. That shows how WRONG they are. I know YOU do not trust them and most of the people on this blog do not, except for the few trolls that pass thru. Makes you wonder what the rest of the people find so comforting in the fact that we have Obama and his administration in our house.

It doesn’t make sense but the base will follow him into hell if that is where he leads them, and it looks like that is where we are headed. How many of these people are part of the 47% Romney was talking about? Those people will never switch sides as long as the money is coming in.

I have a feeling you are right about the 47%, Steve. Obama was talking about people not wanting to be on welfare and would rather have a job, I am afraid I just do not see that. Of course he had his “backups” standing behind him and all were clapping. I know there are some that fall on hard times that absolutely take welfare as a last resort and I do not fault them in the least, if they worked, they earned that help. I am talking about the generation after generation of the entitlement people that refuse to go out and look for a job and expect to be supported, those are the ones that really piss me off. Take from me (us) to support them when they never even try to better themselves. My state of Illinois is guilty of that, there is no incentive to ever get off the dole here and we welcome the illegals with coverage while there are Illinois citizens that are turned down for help. Does that make any sense to anyone here? Of course if you look at how our government sends millions/billions to countries that hate us and make demands of us and they do not take care of American citizens, I guess you could see why states might do the same thing. It does not pay to have a job anymore, maybe we could earn more if we sat back and let the checks and other benefits start rolling in. But, then where would all that “free” money come from that our government so freely gives away? Hmmmm!
