Paul Ryan is in secret talks with Chuck Schumer on immigration reform

February 4, 2014

Apparently not satisfied with screwing over disabled American veterans in the budget deal Paul Ryan now has his eyes set on screwing over the American worker and the American taxpayer, for it is being reported in this article that he is in secret talks with Chuck Schumer over immigration reform. And, by the way, Trey Gowdy is also part of these secret talks for what that is worth.

Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer has held private talks on immigration with Republican Reps. Paul Ryan and Trey Gowdy.

But have no fear for according to a Ryan spokesman there are no negotiations ongoing:

There were no actual negotiations in the meetings, which have not been disclosed until now. Schumer prodded Ryan to chart a course forward.

“In 2013, Sen. Schumer reached out and Congressman Ryan agreed to talk with him,” Ryan spokesman Kevin Seifert said. “They discussed a number of issues, but with respect to immigration reform, Congressman Ryan made clear to Sen. Schumer that we’re doing things differently in the House.”

I would love to believe this, I really would, but we have seen what happens when Paul Ryan meets in private with Democrats. He held secret negotiations with Patty Murray over the budget and look what we got for his efforts: increased spending, a reversal of several of the sequester cuts, and a cut in military pensions.

Cutting spending and reducing the deficit were supposed to be issues that Paul Ryan cared deeply about and yet he threw it all away in the budget deal, are we really supposed to believe this will be any different?

If Ryan screws us hard enough he should have no problem becoming speaker once Boner leaves for rehab.

Maybe that is what he is shooting for, and all this time I thought he was positioning himself for a run at the presidency!

The GOPpers must like being the minority party. Or, maybe they think ObamaCare will carry them to power this November and by passing a “tough” boorder control amnesty bill, they will when over the Hispanic vote for 2016. They may do well this November, but if they pass “bipartisan” amnesty bill, the Democrats will be back in power for decades to come.

In a whore house there are no virgins. Sen Chuck knows he has to find what price he has to pay to screw Trey who is an outspoken critic of immigration reform.

And I am sure he will do his best to find an issue that Gowdy takes to heart and then by him off in return for his vote.
