Rising divorce rates prove the economy is improving?

  Despite the claims of the Obama regime most Americans realize the economy is not getting much better. Those of us who are lucky enough to still have a job realize that our dollar does not go as far as it did a few short years ago. After paying for the necessities in life, such as gas, shelter, and food, we find ourselves with less expendable income. Those of us who have been out of a job for years understand more than most that the economy is not improving. The fact that there is even a debate in the Congress about extending long-term unemployment yet again is all the proof needed that new jobs are few and far between.

  Yet we are constantly told the economy is getting better, but the American people know better because they live the economy while the ruling class is afforded the luxury of speculation and anecdotal evidence to prove to the people they are not feeling what they are feeling.

  Naturally the propaganda arm of the Obama regime, otherwise known as the mainstream media, have gone out of their way to promote the regime’s claim that the economy is improving even as the struggles of mainstream Americans lead us to believe it is not.

  Desperate to find something, anything, that can prove Barack Obama’s claim that the economy is improving, Bloomberg News is now actually reporting that the rising divorce rate in the United States is actually proof of an improving economy. I couldn’t make this up if I wanted to.

Hard economic times had kept Amy Derose and her husband Lawrence locked in an unhappy marriage for the sake of their engineering firm in Pompano Beach, Florida.

“The business was hanging on by a thread and we had to hang on,” said Derose, 53, who had been married 35 years and worked as the business manager. “We couldn’t afford to split. He needed me in the business and I needed him.”

With Florida’s economy and housing market recovering, “we are definitely on the upswing” and revenue is rising at their 24-employee company. That is allowing the couple to move forward with their divorce this month after years of showing up to work as if nothing were wrong personally. Now, she is looking for a job and “couldn’t be happier.”

  But wait, there’s more:

The number of Americans getting divorced rose for the third year in a row to about 2.4 million in 2012, after plunging in the 18-month recession ended June 2009, according to U.S. Census Bureau data. Whatever the social and emotional impact, the broad economic effects of the increase are clear: It is contributing to the formation of new households, boosting demand for housing, appliances and furnishings and spurring the economy. Divorces are also prompting more women to enter the labor force.

“As the economy normalizes, so too do family dynamics,” said Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody’s Analytics Inc. in West Chester,Pennsylvania. “Birth rates and divorce rates are rising. We may even see them rise strongly in the next couple of years, as households who put off these life-changing events decide to act.”

  There you have it; the destruction of the family unit in he United States is not something to bemoan for it actually proves that things are getting better and the economy is improving. Now I can say I have heard it all, is it any wonder why so many of us believe the mainstream media is nothing more than the Ministry of Propaganda?
