Susan Rice has no regrets about lying to the American people about Benghazi

 Earlier today Susan Rice was interviewed by David Gregory about her now infamous propaganda parade on all the Sunday morning talk shows in the wake of the Benghazi terrorist attack which left Chris Stevens, Glen Doherty, Sean Smith, and Tyrone Woods dead and she claimed she has no regrets for her role in the cover-up.

“As you look back at your involvement in all of that, do you have any regrets?” Gregory asked.

“David, no,” she replied. “Because what I said to you that morning and what I did every day since was to share the best information that we had at the time.”

“The information I provided — which I explained to you was what we had at the moment, it could change; I commented that this was based on what we knew on that morning — was provided to me, and my colleagues and indeed to Congress by the intelligence community,” she explained, “and that’s been well validated in many different ways since.”

“And that information turned out in some respects not to be 100 percent correct,”

  I am willing to give Susan Rice the benefit of the doubt here because it is possible, although I feel highly unlikely, that she was a useful idiot who was simply used by the Obama regime to promote a position which we now know beyond a shadow of a doubt was a lie. But it is what she said next that I have the biggest problem with:

“but the notion that somehow I or anybody else in the administration misled the American people is patently false, and I think that that’s been amply demonstrated.”

  Simply put, this is a lie which she still continues to promote to this day. She might have simply been pushing the talking points as they were given to her but we know the Obama regime edited these talking points before they were given to her in order to downplay the role terrorism played in the attacks and she surely knows this at this point in time.

  Her version of the talking points were not based on the best information the regime had at the time as she, and the Obama regime, would still like us to believe, but rather were the version of the talking points the Obama regime wanted the American people to hear.

  The truth is simple: Barack Obama was running for reelection and he was telling the American people that because of his policies al Qaeda was on the run. This attack disproved Barack Obama’s claim and if the truth got out to the American people before the election it would have not only been an embarrassment to the president but it also could have jeopardized his reelection so the regime made the political calculation that it was better to lie to the American people than to admit failure. And it worked, so it is no wonder why Susan Rice has no regrets about her role in all of this…..
