Good Morning America uses Westboro Baptist Church footage during a report on former Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich
Last Thursday America’s Watchtower covered the story about Brendan Eich stepping down as CEO of Mozilla because he once donated to Proposition 8 in California.
That post focused on the first amendment because Brendan Eich was facing pressure to resign due to stating an opinion which is now considered to be politically incorrect. Today’s post will focus on media bias.
ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ also covered this story and here is how it went down:
It was subtle but did you catch it? At precisely the moment they mentioned Mister Eich’s donation to Prop 8 they showed footage of the Westboro Baptist Church during one of their despicable protests. The implication this news organization was promulgating of course is that he was somehow associated with this group even though we do not know if that is the case.
And it is probably not the case for if we have somehow found out that six years ago Brendan Eich donated $1,000 to Prop 8 don’t you think it would have also been reported that he was either a member, or a supporter, of the Westboro Baptist Church?
Was this done intentionally or was it simply an oversight? You all know how I feel about the mainstream media so you can probably ascertain how I feel about this.
In my opinion this was an attempt, however subliminally, to shape public opinion on this issue and I find it to be the height of irresponsibility to say the least. But I would have expected nothing else…..

Intolerance by the Left continues to hit new lows. Plus the subtle message by the media which suggests that people who believe that marriage is between one man one woman are just like the Westboro Baptist nuts. This messaging crap needs to be countered and the intolerance must be stopped somehow. Maybe by giving them a bit of their own medicine.

While the left loves to claim the right is intolerant they continue to prove they are guilty of the same as well. This was obviously an attempt at connecting Eich to that despicable “church” in my opinion in order to promote their agenda.

The left has taken control of language, because the left has control of the media. That has earned them the power to redefine language as they please, and they have redefined the term “disagreement” as either “hate” or “racism” whichever works best that day.
But what I hate most about the radical left, and I mean hate the way Webster defines it, is their despicable hypocrisy. The same parrots chirping tolerance, demanding we ‘celebrate diversity’, and pasting ‘coexist” bumper stickers on their cars don’t hesitate to yell “off with their heads” when someone has the unmitigated temerity to disagree.

the left controls the media, which means they control the narrative and when you control the message you can control the people. When they talk about tolerance they believe only that we should be tolerant of their positions but it doesn’t work both ways with them. By shaming and intimidating people into silence they have basically set up the thought police.
