New study claims that white babies are racially biased
A new study has been released by University of Washington that claims that white babies are racially biased. Here is more:
80 white 15-month-old babies watched as toys were distributed. This time half the babies watched as more toys were given to the Asian recipient; and the other half watched as more were given to a white recipient.
The babies were then let to choose a playmate and more times chose the white recipient.
“If all babies care about is fairness, then they would always pick the fair distributor, but we’re also seeing that they’re interested in consequences for their own group members,” Sommerville said.
Researchers say that these findings take race into account when babies choose a playmate.
“Babies are sensitive to how people of the same ethnicity as the infant, versus a different ethnicity, are treated – they weren’t just interested in who was being fair or unfair,” Monica Burns, co-author of the study and a former UW Psychology undergraduate student, and currently a psychology graduate student at Harvard University, said. “It’s interesting how infants integrate information before choosing who to interact with, they’re not just choosing based on a single dimension.”
She was quick to point out that this does not mean these babies are racists because they did not exhibit any hostility toward the Asian babies, but note that this study did not test minority babies to see if they displayed the same characteristics. There seems to have been an agenda here, and since when did anyone think 15 year old babies had any concept of fairness in the first place?

Mind if I point out something dumb?
People generally like people who resemble them. Skin color is one criteria, but then so is level of education, social class, style of car, preferences in music, language spoken (and regional dialect), style of hair or clothes, body art, you name it.
We like what we identify with. The more someone looks or sounds different from us, the more we have to work before we’re comfortable with them.
That’s not racism, that’s the way human beings are hard wired. Something different always appears slightly threatening, even if no threat is present.
Racism is when you judge someone solely on their race or ethnic heritage and do not honestly consider their achievements, character or intelligence.

Well said, and yet we had to spend this money to find out something we already knew!

One simple question. Why in the world are we testing babies for racism? Is that all some people see when they look at any given situation?

A great question Larry!

It is all they want us to see. Never forget, Obama’s basic technique was divide and conquer, race against race and rich against poor.

Exactly! That is what this whole study was about!

Scientifically it is totally incomplete. We are not told what the Asian babies did and why aren’t we using other ethnicities. “but note that this study did not test minority babies” What is she talking about whites are a minority now. Sounds like a liberal rushing to conclusions so she can get a pat on the back from Obama.

Exactly, this “study” looks as if it was conducted to get a predetermined result.

Could it come to pass that once they slip this into the amniocentesis protocol that government mandated infanticide will rival abortion as the number one killer of the the innocent? And will this be covered under Obalamacare? These metrosexual pricks have too much of our money as well as too much time on their hands.
