MSNBC to apologize for racist Cinco de Mayo “tribute”

May 6, 2014

Yesterday America’s Watchtower briefly covered MSNBC’s racist and stereotypical “tribute” to Cinco de Mayo. You can read that post here.  Today the propaganda arm of the Obama regime apologized online and they are set to issue an on air apology tomorrow, claiming the segment was not meant to be offensive.

  Here is more:

MSNBC is apologizing for a Cinco de Mayo segment that featured a staff member onscreen wearing a sombrero, shaking maracas and taking a swig from a bottle of tequila.

The network said Tuesday the interlude on its “Way Too Early” show Monday featuring correspondent Louis Burgdorf and host Thomas Roberts wasn’t intended to be disrespectful. The show apologized online and will express its regret Wednesday on the air.

If you are a member of the left I have but one question; is this enough? It seems to me that if this was a right-leaning news organization there would be calls for a boycott until Louis Burgdorf was fired.

It was cute. The liberals are too wound up about it.

I think they should be fined, and forced to sell their network, after having every PC member of society berate them for their private conversation, oops, wrong hysteria.

Kudos to Obama. Unlike the right wing establishment which would have thrown their own under the bus as they have done in the past, the Obama led lefties will apologize and dismiss this as nothing more than an exercise in poor judgement. By doing so they will be protecting MSLSD as well as the Mexican, illegal and Latino vote. Too bad the republican elite won’t be taking notes.

I believe it is call selective outrage. There were no staged questions for Obama like in the Sterling case and it will all be forgotten about.

I’m surprised that it didn’t cause a take-over of the American Embassy in Mexico City and result in killing the Ambassador and Deputy Chief or whoever else is there. Thank goodness that didn’t happen to ‘happen.’ Good thing they didn’t show it on Utube … oops. No wonder he apologized.

Mexican is not a race, thus making fun of Mexicans is not racist. The races are white, black, brown, Asian, pacific islander, arab/middle-eastern. That’s it. Mexicans come in a wide variety of colors, shapes and sizes, if you speak Spanish and watch the telenovelas, you’ll notice lots of Mexicans with blue eyes, sometimes blond hair as well.

Furthermore, on Cinco de Mayo you are supposed to wear a big sombrero and other stereotypical Mexican attire, the same crap any tourist can buy in Cancun. So why the hell are they apologizing?
