Latest New Hampshire poll shows Jeanne Shaheen ahead of carpetbagger Scott Brown by 12 points

May 20, 2014

The latest New Hampshire poll is out and it is not good news for the carpetbagging  and inevitable Republican nominee Scott Brown; he trails Jeanne Shaheen, who should be a vulnerable Democrat, by 12 points.

The poll of 707 likely Granite State voters taken May 14-15 by Vox Populi Polling, a new Republican polling firm of Washington, D.C. , shows Democrat Shaheen leading Brown 47 to 35 percent with 13 percent undecided.

The sampling of this latest poll was 47 percent independents, 27 percent Republicans and 26 percent Democrats, and the margin of error was 3.6 percent, the Vox Populi said.

The interesting thing to note here is that according to this poll another Republican candidate actually polls closer to Jeanne Shaheen for the first time. Unfortunately it is another carpetbagger, Bob Smith, (at least Bob Smith was a New Hampshire senator in the past before moving away) and not one of the other candidates.

But none of that really matters because Scott Brown is the candidate who has been chosen by the establishment and that means he has a huge advantage over all Republican candidates and it shows in the latest poll:

But in a GOP primary poll, Brown was far ahead of the field, leading Smith 38 to 13 percent, with former state Sen. Jim Rubens at 9 percent, conservative activist Karen Testerman 8 percent and 28 percent undecided.

Our choice has been made for us; Scott Brown will be the nominee whether you like it or not, and when November rolls around he will go down in defeat. Maybe then the establishment will finally get it, but I doubt it.
