Joe Biden contradicts Barack Obama, says some of the recent wave of illegal immigrants will be allowed to stay in the United States
Last week Barack Obama had a message for Mexico and the recent illegal immigrants who have been flooding over the border since the president used Executive Orders to loosen the immigration policies to grant defacto amnesty and implement the DREAM Act and his message was clear; you cannot stay here.
President Obama told his Mexican counterpart in a phone call Thursday that immigrants crossing into the U.S. illegally won’t qualify for legalized status or deferred deportation, including children.
In my post covering this story I had one simple question for my readers; do you believe him?
Apparently you can count Joe Biden as one of the people who did not believe Barack Obama because in a press conference yesterday Joe Biden said that while the vast majority of recent illegal immigrants would be sent back not all of them would be.
“We’re going to hold hearings with our judges consistent with international law and American law, and we’re going to send the vast majority of you back,” he said during a June 20 press press conference in Guatemala.
While the vast majority will be sent back this is still in contrast to what Barack Obama said when he claimed none of the illegal immigrants would qualify for “legal status” or “deferred deportation.” While this statement was likely meant to deter people from crossing the border due to the unlikely chance they would be granted amnesty all it really did was offer them enough hope to take the chance of crossing the border on the slim hope they would be a part of the chosen few allowed to stay.
It goes without saying that I did not believe Barack Obama in the first place and this just confirms my suspicion. Barack Obama has been facing the heat on this issue since it first came to light and his poll numbers have been dropping; this message to Mexico was really a message to the American people, an attempt to look tough on the issue, but Joe Biden let the cat out of the bag.

Depends which side of his (Obomb) mouth he’s speaking out of. Is it a left-sided lie or a right sided lie, either way … anything that comes out of his mouth seems to be the opposite of what’s said. So, Biden flubbed-up again and told the truth.

Anyone who believes much of what Obama says needs to be classified as naive. How many statements has he made about Obamacare that have proven to be false? Too many to list here, for sure.
On illegal immigration, his entire administration has been playing games from the start. They have manipulated the numbers to make it appear they are deporting more illegals than ever before. The truth is, they have been counting those immigrants turned away at the border as deported. In other words, they have been padding the numbers to make themselves look good. That doesn’t surprise me in the least. Neither does Biden’s statement.
