Barack Obama declines Rick Perry’s invitation to visit the border

July 2, 2014

Earlier this week Rick Perry invited Barack Obama to visit the border so he could get a first-hand look at the havoc his policies are wreaking in the border state. (My words, not Rick Perry’s)

Today the White House responded with basically thanks but no thanks:

White House Press Sec. Josh Earnest said Wednesday that, to date, Obama does not have plans to visit the border.

“That’s the continued plan,” Earnest said when asked if Obama still has no plans to go to the border.

He did, however, leave the door open for a change in scheduling.

“[S]chedules sometimes change, and if they do we’ll let you know. But right now there is no plan to visit the border while he’s in Texas,” the new press secretary said

The White House did leave the door open but I am not holding my breath because the president has more important issues to deal with:

Obama is scheduled to be in Texas for DNC fundraisers July 9 and 10, according to The Monitor.

He has fundraisers to attend, sound familiar? Benghazi anyone? Of course he had plenty of time to visit New Jersey in the wake of Superstorm Sandy in the midst of a busy campaign schedule…..but he had something to gain politically from that photo-op.

But hey, we need to cut the president some slack here because he knows what the situation at the border is, after all he did manufacture this crisis in the first place with the Hegelian dialectic of conflict resolution in mind. This is why the Federal government advertised for escorts for illegal immigrant minors back in January of this year.

Barack Obama knew this was going to happen and he welcomed it…..

Not surprising, he knows what it looks like, he just doesn’t care. You know the “It can’t get any worse” myth……….it is a myth.

Now just imagine if the republican party had not been so anti labor and anti wage and reduced all attention to border safeguards and security of the borders during the Reagan, Bush H.W., George Bush, and Clinton years in attempting to reduce the cost to corporate America by reducing the cost of labor by the hiring of illegal alien workers. These are just the facts and the reason that republicans right now are raising so much fuss over the recess appointment of Obama is because he is appointing positions that are related to labor which is the real reason for the screams from the republican party. Amazing how spin rather than truth is the dominant principle of the republican party. The truth is that when Obama took office there were 25 million undocumented aliens in the United States. My question then becomes how was this due to the policies of him or his office. Once again a partial use of truth is being employed to pervert the truth in totality. But again this is the standard operating procedure of the republican party. I extend to you an invitation to visit marktone.wordpress.com for a true grip of reality and truth. Of course your visit will be counted, but this invite is not for the benefit of me but hopefully for the benefit of yourself.

Thank you very much for stopping by and I hope to see you around here again in the future. There is no doubt that the Republicans have an interest in bringing in immigrants for cheap labor and yes that is part of the problem and it is the reason why the leaders of that party are pushing for amnesty. However this recent flood of illegals cannot be blamed on Bush.

It is in no way the sole possession of George W. Bush, but rather an orchestrated move by the entirety of the Republican agenda to provide labor at reduced wages through the openings of our southern borders, without any regulation. This action begun with Reagan’s firing of the air traffic controllers, which put fear into the heart of labor unions and continues to this day. This was followed by appointments to the National Labor Board of people whom were directly opposed to any demands made by unions under both Ronald Reagan and George H. Bush, followed of course by George H. W. Bush.

There is no doubt that Republicans want amnesty for the reason you mentioned but you should not let the Democrats off the hook.

Bunker, maybe he will just do a “fly over”, so as not to come into contact with the unwashed mass of illegals. He has really no use for them, but for voting purposes and to bring the rest of the country to their knees. Doesn’t it make you wonder what in his upbringing triggered this total hate for America and its’ people? This was the best we could do to represent all that is good in the United States?
