Oklahoma Representative denied access to illegal immigrant holding facility in his state

July 2, 2014

Many of the illegal immigrants which are currently streaming over the border are being flown and bused into different states where they are being processed and in some cases released into the community. A condition of release is they must appear at their deportation hearing, for whatever that promise might be worth.

One of the states where some of these illegal immigrants are being placed is Oklahoma so one House Representative from Oklahoma, Jim Bridenstine, decided to pay a visit to the holding facility in his state.

That seems reasonable enough in the wake of this crisis, after all he represents a portion of the state and should know what is going on in his state, but he was denied entry and told he could come back in three weeks.

  Here is more:

Congressman Jim Bridenstine tried to visit a facility in Oklahoma yesterday housing illegal alien minors who have crossed the border and was denied access to it. He was told he could schedule an appointment three weeks from now

He also described newly erected fences that were chained closed, covered with material in order to obscure the view of what’s happening inside the facility.

Needless to say, he is not happy about this:

Congressman Jim Bridenstine (OK) was denied access yesterday to the HHS facility at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma currently housing up to 1,200 unaccompanied alien children (UAC) who illegally crossed the southern border into the United States.

Congressman Bridenstine said, “There is no excuse for denying a Federal Representative from Oklahoma access to a federal facility in Oklahoma where unaccompanied children are being held.  Any Member of Congress should have the legal authority to visit a federal youth detention facility without waiting three weeks.”

“What are they trying to hide?  Do they not want the children to speak with Members of Congress?  As a Navy pilot, I have been involved in operations countering illicit human trafficking.  I would like to know to whom these children are being released.”

He asked the question “what are they trying to hide” and that is a question which needs to be asked for it certainly appears as if the Federal government is hiding something. With all the reports of the diseases which some of these illegal immigrants are carrying it seems logical to me that the communities which are having these illegals forced on them deserve to be assured they are safe from contagions.

This man was trying to do his job, he was trying to protect the people he represents, and he was denied. But why if he contacted officials today would he have to wait three weeks? I would guess that by the time he visits most of the illegal immigrants will be gone, having been released into the communities he is trying to protect. At that time it really will be nothing to see here, move along…..

Anyone who thinks we live in a free country, think no more. Fox just had him on, and it is a stunner. I just wish he had been arrested for trying to get in.

I found this which may bring a breath of fresh air: REJECTED. Obama’s Illegal Alien Express is Turned Away by Murrieta Protesters Americans Fight Back http://toprightnews.com/?p=4170 Notice the DHS emblems on these – top of the line – large white buses. Looks like the real Homeland Security is that group stopping them – similar to Bundy’s Ranch Patriots. Maybe some of these Congress people will open their eye and ‘see’ (comprehend) the situation and the enemy at hand. Those ‘containment camps’ might be housing them if they do something to stop this take-over (using the Mexicans as the diversion).

You know it is not so much that Obama is doing what he is doing to ALL of us (it is going to take this country to a level we do not ever want to see), but that it will potentially physically hurt us as well as financially. I am an old EMT, I know that the CDC is not alerting the public on the transporting of all these illegals that have diseases. They are SPREADING it around, our own government, knowingly. Not only is it going to financially take the country down, but how many are going to have to die from what could and should be prevented? Then I see the people protesting about the buses coming into their town, well, why wouldn’t they? And, they are the bad guys? Of course now it will be done probably in the middle of the night, so as not to have anyone there when they drop the illegals on us. We have cell phones and CB’s and Ham radios, we can keep track of what is going on and probably should start doing that. I also read that in Sacramento there is an outbreak of TB, when was the last time you heard that? Years and years? Well, start listening, because when it starts affecting OUR kids, parents are going to start screaming about what is going on. It might be a little too late by then, but it has to start somewhere. This is so blatantly in our faces that it defies logic. When did we, as a whole, become such a nation of wooses and takers? Well, we have to take care of this by ourselves, I just do not see but a handful of Senators or Representatives that are fighting for us and they are fighting an uphill battle, as well. The White House and his Administration are to blame for this one. Tack on all the other things that have happened during Obamas presidency and what the hell is going on? Best to get out your face masks and hand sanitizer for when you go out. Does it sound like I am being an alarmist? You might thank me later. This is going to have to be stopped at county and state level.

No you are not being an alarmist at all! Some of these people are bringing diseases into this country which have been eradicated and they will be spreading it to Americans. How many of the people who are transporting these illegals are going to catch these diseases and then spread them to us?!

If this reporting is accurate, HHS has to be held accountable. As I said elsewhere, I’m not a big fan of permitting elected officials unfettered access to everything always, but telling a US Representative that he must make an appointment 3 weeks in advance to visit a federal facility in his own district is an insult to all the citizens of this country.

Take good care and may God bless us all!

I am with you on this one TGY. I could understand it is he showed up there unannounced and was told there was nobody there who could see him, but the idea that a meeting could not be set up for three weeks is simply not believable.
