Howard Dean questions the patriotism of the Republicans in the Congress

July 3, 2014

Today Howard Dean questioned the patriotism of the Republicans in the Congress who oppose Barack Obama’s agenda.

Here is part of what he had to say:

These are, really, people — I question their patriotism, really. I mean, we’re paying them to do something and they are doing nothing.”

I think you all know where I am about to go with this but here goes anyway: it wasn’t all that long ago when Hillary Clinton had the following to say about Republicans who questioned the patriotism of those Democrats who opposed the Bush regime’s agenda:

I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you’re not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration.

Funny how the Democrats mindset has changed, isn’t it? I will be waiting for Mrs. Clinton to condemn these remarks with the same vigor and enthusiasm which she displayed back in 2003…..

This is what we pay them to do:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

~ We pay them to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies – foreign and domestic – some of them actually are the domestic enemies!

~ We pay them to carry out the Constitutionally enumerated powers delegated to them.

~ We pay them to protect the states against invasion.

~ We pay them to pass necessary and proper laws.

~ We pay them to protect our Rights.

~ We pay them to provide for defense of our Country.

~ We pay them to obey their constituents.

Here’s what we don’t pay them to do:

~ We don’t pay them to follow the agenda of any president or political party.

~ We don’t pay them to give our money to illegal entrants.

~ We don’t pay them to give our money to foreign countries or international organizations.

~ We don’t pay them to send our military all over the globe, to fight for other countries.

~ We don’t pay them to interfere in the affairs of other countries.

~ We don’t pay them to cede our sovereignty to international organizations.

~ We don’t pay them to make laws that violate the Constitution.

~ We don’t pay them to ignore their Constitutional duties.

~ We don’t pay them to violate our Rights.

Dean should be in the ‘psych ward’, does he really even know what a.k.a. Barack’s agenda is? I agree w/ lgbmiel. They work for a social/commie group, but are paid by Americans. The two aren’t the same.
