Harry Reid claims the border is secure

 Great news everyone! The border is secure–Harry Reid said so and he knows this is true because another Senator told him so.

  Here is more:

“The border is secure. [Sen.] Martin Heinrich talked to the caucus today. He’s a border state senator. He said he can say without any equivocation the border is secure.”

  Whew! I feel much better now, I thought the fact that thousands of illegal immigrants have been flooding over the border in recent weeks was a sign the border is not secure, but I must have been wrong.

  Seriously though; when you read an outlandish statement such as that, and when you hear the White House make the equally outlandish claim that Barack Obama’s policies have improved the “tranquility of the global community” despite the uptick in violence in the Middle East do you ever get the feeling you are living an an alternative universe? Or they are? I do. Who are you going to believe, the Federal government or your lying eyes…
