Newly released emails show Lois Lerner calling some conservatives “crazies” and “a**holes”
Newly released emails show that several months before the IRS began what Lois Lerner admitted was inappropriate targeting of conservative groups she had a personal animosity toward conservatives which makes it hard to believe the targeting was not deliberate.

Former senior IRS official Lois Lerner had deeply held political biases while she was in a position of authority, according to Republican lawmakers who unveiled emails on Wednesday showing her referring to conservatives as ‘crazies’ and ‘a**holes.’
The conversation turned ugly when Lerner’s writing companion let loose first on conservatives.
‘Well, you should hear the whacko wing of the GOP,’ the person replied. ‘The US is through; too many foreigners sucking the teat; time to hunker down, buy ammo and food, and prepare for the end.’
‘The right wing radio shows are scary to listen to.’
‘Great,’ Lerner wrote back. ‘Maybe we are through if there are that many a**holes.’
‘And I’m talking about the hosts of the shows,’ came the reply. ‘The callers are rabid.’
In the final message of the exchange, Lerner wrote that ‘we don’t need to worry about [illegal] alien terrorists. It’s our own crazies that will take us down.’
I do not deny that the rhetoric can go over the top at times but that does not mean the concerns are not legitimate. It must also be noted at this time that these are not Lois Lerner’s personal emails, they are from her official IRS account (if this was her personal account it would not be as bad, but still telling) so at best it shows a lack of professionalism on the part of Lois Lerner, but at worst it shows us that Lois Lerner let her personal feelings toward her political opponents influence which groups were targeted for extra scrutiny.
And it also leads to more speculation about what was in the emails which the IRS conveniently destroyed…

Anyone want to bet this is just the tip of the iceberg. More importantly she set the tone and expectations for those under her which is even more damning.

Exactly, and we do not know who she was talking to at this point and I an very curious to find out who this was. Was it somebody below her or was it somebody above her. That is something which needs to be answered as well.

One thing this shows is just how much the left despises conservatives. They think we are crazy for believing in personal liberty and responsibility and even crazier for being willing to speak up about it,

Yes, and the personal attacks continue, instead of defending what they believe in the left continues to attack us. And in this case they actually used the IRS in an attempt to stifle the opposition.

The problem is, that what they “let” us see is pretty crappy for her to say it, but it is not illegal or at least they will claim that. You can bet the “found” emails have been gone over and over to make sure there is nothing illegal that she said. They will say that it was her opinion and she is entitled to it. Just like with Obama, try and make it stick. Funny how all of a sudden the emails show up, isn’t it? They may also say that she was acting alone, in case they can make it stick to her, but I am betting it will go nowhere, as usual. If all else fails, they will bring the media around to attack a Republican on something that was said years ago and they will run with it. You know how easy it is for the media to invent a story, be it true or not!

Yep, good insight. Goes w/ how the ‘hater of America’ (fake prez) can point the finger at others and belittle them as ‘haters’ (‘Stop hating all the time …’) while being top on the list – evident by his actions or lack thereof. The Mobsters mentality – projecting their own mirror depravity and mendacity. Bottle of the barrel dark souls.

I think that is called projection if I am not mistaken and Barack Obama is a master of it.

When I worked with ESDA (emergency services disaster agency) I did logistics during the drills the county had. We had to think ahead of what was going to be needed in the planning and get it set up, so guess that is how my mind works. I am a thinker and doer, haha!

They have all the emails, there is no doubt in my mind about that, and they are combing through them to release the that show no criminal activity. This makes it look like they are complying when they are really protecting.
