Barack Obama amends Executive Order to quarantine Americans with respiratory illness

August 5, 2014

Before I get to the heart of this post I must warn my readers to affix their tinfoil hats firmly upon their heads.

Are you ready? Good, here we go…

As you all know by now two American aid workers who contracted Ebola while working in Africa have been flown back to the United States for treatment. This of course was the right thing to do and I do not think anyone will deny this.

However, since that time (and unrelated to the two aforementioned Americans) we have learned that at least six people have been tested for the disease in the United States.

As health officials downplay concerns about an Ebola outbreak in the US, six people have been quietly tested across the country for the deadly virus, according to a report.

In addition to patients isolated in New York, Atlanta and Ohio, there were six other patients tested without the public’s knowledge, according to a CNN report.

Those tests have come back negative but that is not the point of this post. We have also learned from the article linked to above, as well as this article, that the Federal government has not been forthcoming with information regarding these cases.

Here is where the tinfoil hat comes into play: Before all of this happened, quietly and without fanfare, Barack Obama signed an amendment last week to Executive Order number 13295, which deals with quarantining Americans with communicable diseases, to state the following:

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 264(b) of title 42, United States Code, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1.  Amendment to Executive Order 13295.  Based upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Health and Human Services, in consultation with the Acting Surgeon General, and for the purposes set forth in section 1 of Executive Order 13295 of April 4, 2003, as amended by Executive Order 13375 of April 1, 2005, section 1 of Executive Order 13295 shall be further amended by replacing subsection (b) with the following:

“(b)  Severe acute respiratory syndromes, which are diseases that are associated with fever and signs and symptoms of pneumonia or other respiratory illness, are capable of being transmitted from person to person, and that either are causing, or have the potential to cause, a pandemic, or, upon infection, are highly likely to cause mortality or serious morbidity if not properly controlled.  This subsection does not apply to influenza.”

Now a person can be quarantined for showing signs of respiratory illness. One could easily state that this is simply an example of the president being proactive in the midst of a possible Ebola pandemic, but Ebola was already listed on the original Executive Order which was signed by George Bush.

So what is going on? Why the sudden change after all these years? What changed?

While all of this is happening thousands of illegal immigrants are pouring over the border. Some of these illegal immigrants are carrying diseases and they are being dumped into communities all across the nation, in many cases without concern for how this will affect the citizens of those communities.

This leads to an obvious question: if Barack Obama is so concerned about the possible outbreak of communicable diseases why is he not applying the same quarantine standards to illegal immigrants, who are actually carrying communicable diseases in many instances, which he is applying to the citizens of the United States?

Is that what this Executive Order is all about? If so, would not it be better to quarantine the illegal immigrants before they spread disease rather than quarantining Americans after they have contracted a disease?

Is this tinfoil hat material? You decide…

The way I read this is that once the illegals are on US soil they can’t be sent back but rather interred in quarantine units which will surely be built at our expense. Secondly will HLS be monitoring american citizens for sniffles on the streets or only at the airports and hospitals? I would intone for God to help us but since we have abandoned him he has surely done the same to us. Turnabout is fair play.

Like the ‘flu vaccine’, ‘ There are literally thousands of strains of the “flu” virus [& different kinds of Eloba], hence unless they know exactly which one is going to be let loose in the public, they cannot produce a vaccine that has any ability to do anything except spread the virus further though live virus vaccines of course.’
‘Mandated vaccination could be enforced by EO …?’ What will be in them?

‘Truth Stream Media’ has an a helpful vid: ‘CDC Removed the Phrase “Contaminated Air” from Its New Ebola Webpage’ on their website. Facts are being changed & manipulated.
Tin-hats won’t help in this arena, but clear thinking can!
‘… the company that makes this experimental drug (Mapp Biopharmaceutical Inc.) stands to make a giant pile of money by the time this crisis is over.’ [Tekmira Pharmaceuticals] ‘Which government officials already have stocks in these companies …’
If our ‘ever caring anti-American fraud prez’ is signing something, we know it’s inline w/ their agenda – accelerate fear – panic, control and contain. After all, isn’t that what he’s all about. Bring home the ‘traitor, trading him for terrorist’ … ‘bring home the infected’.

The good news from my standpoint is that only 13 illegals have been relocated to NH. Not bad compared to my neighbors.

Seems that the individual States should act. But, those states have their own Regime ‘plants’ in ranking positions who are allowing and managing it. Sickening. Plus Religious groups (Lutherans) are seeing it as ‘their duty’ to go along w/ it. When the corrupt are ruling this is what happens – sorry to hear that your neighbor is one of the ‘chosen’ – must have leadership there supporting it.

You probably seen this, but in case not: Here’s Why I Won’t Be Lining Up for the Ebola Vaccine – See more at: http://www.thedailysheeple.com/heres-why-i-wont-be-lining-up-for-the-ebola-vaccine_082014#sthash.vmMvmZLt.dpuf
These ‘centers’ are already up … like they ‘knew’ this was coming. That’s why the ‘vaccines’ are so questionable, why would a group who wants to get rid of you, provide something to counter-act what they’re doing in the first place.

Zip, I will not be taking any vaccine or my family! I do not take flu, shingles or pneumonia shots either. I know they are full of undesirable things that I do NOT want in my body. I also bet this ebola shot will be full of that, as well. You asked the question about them (government) providing something to help when they want to get rid of you/us??? Maybe think about that for a minute. What if it contains something that will move that getting rid of you/us a little quicker, just saying!
Steve, I can see the vaccine being pushed out and forced on us from the Pharmaceutical companies perspective, too. They are set for making millions, if not billions on this one. Look at the money they make when the doctors were pushed to have patients take the cholesterol drugs. Those drugs are the biggest money makers on the market and now all of a sudden the level that you have to attain to not take them is getting lowered all the time. Couple that with having children as young as 12 being put on them to keep them from having high cholesterol. This government makes me sick, they want to rule every ones lives now, what happened to us being a free nation? Guess we can hang that up, can’t we?

I agree Lou. I just saw this yesterday evening – it so ‘goes w/ this vaccine’ thought: The TV series “The Lottery”. It depicts an ‘unexplained’ reason for women’s sterilization, 2016.
      http://www.mylifetime.com/shows/the-lottery
With Eugenics and depopulation mania (Gates Society), we can surmise that’s what they have in mind. Just like ‘Revolution’ – ‘we don’t know why the lights went out… why the grid failed’. They do know but they’re not going to tell you it was inside job, blamed on Russia (I don’t watch the show).
When we really think about this, consider ‘there’s a few sickies who are behind ruining our God given lives’ and think nothing wrong doing so. God does though, and that’s where His Book of Revelation lights are turned on. Until then, keep mindful of the tactics of the enemy!

Wow – Steve’s original post said nothing about vaccination – but some of the folks here seem to have gone into overdrive opposing it.

Let me point out another, more benign, less apocalyptic reason for the President’s EO: note the very last words of Section 2, exempting the flu. Now, I’ve never had the flu, although I’ve had several flu shots. Most adults I know who’ve had the flu, though, tell me it’s a bear of a disease that lasts three, four, maybe five days. Because it’s a virus, there’s bno point in seeing a doctor, unless you just want to confirm what you’ve got. Because a doctor cannot give you anything to make the disease go away or run its course sooner.

But some forms of influenza mimic the symptoms spelled out earlier in Section 1b, leading to the obvious conclusion that according to the EO signed by President Bush, people with the flu should be quarantined.

President Obama’s EO amends Mr. Bush’s to the extent that it consolidates a list of symptoms and removes a list of name that could be confusing or misleading. It also specifically removes the flu from any list of diseases for which the government can quarantine people. I’d call the amendment housecleaning, nothing more.

Take good care and may God bless us all!

Most people don’t get the flu every year, even if they haven’t been vaccinated. If you do get the vaccine, you have a lot smaller chance of contracting the disease.

I have never had a flu shot and I have never had the flu, of course I probably just jinxed myself. I have heard stories of people getting the flu from the shots but I really don’t know if that is true or not, but I choose to take my chances without it. But I rarely take any medication even when I do get sick, part of it is just me being stubborn I guess.

This aggravates my wife at times because she is a nurse and cannot understand why I won’t take something to make me feel better. 🙂

I used to avoid all meds except antibiotics when prescribed. I’d tough it out through headaches and other pain, and today, even though I have prescription-strength ibuprofen, I avoid it except pre-tennis (cuts down on the shoulder pain).

On the other hand, once I was diagnosed with diabetes, I try to be religious about taking those meds, as the consequences of not taking them can be, eh, severe. I think, Steve, that if you ever have the misfortune to acquire a chronic illness, you’ll probably wind up being pretty good about taking your regular meds.

Vaccinations are a different story, though. I get my flu shot every year now (a practice I started sometime in my 50s), and both daughters got a full range of vaccinations. The elder girl had a magnificent opportunity during college to take a semester at sea, which took her around the world, but they required certification of her vaccinations, and she had to get an anti-malarial vaccination at the time as well.

Given the rate of proven problems from vaccination, if there’s some conspiracy underway to kill us all off through the vaccination system, it’s got to be the most incompetently managed conspiracy in the history of the world.

Take good care and may God bless us all!

My wife and I both received all of our childhood vaccinations and so have my boys. I just choose not to get the flu shot and so far I haven’t had a problem.
