Department of Justice attorneys admit backups of Lois Lerner’s emails do exist
The twisted tale of the IRS targeting scandal and Lois Lerner’s allegedly lost emails regarding the scandal has taken yet another twist.
The Department of Injustice’s lawyers, responding to a Judicial Watch request, are now admitting that backups to all of Lois Lerner’s lost emails do in fact exist.
Here is more on this new revelation:
Department of Justice attorneys for the Internal Revenue Service told Judicial Watch on Friday that Lois Lerner’s emails, indeed all government computer records, are backed up by the federal government in case of a government-wide catastrophe.
So the emails do exist somewhere after all, why then is the Obama regime not forthcoming with the emails?
The Obama administration attorneys said that this back-up system would be too onerous to search. The DOJ attorneys also acknowledged that the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) is investigating this back-up system.
On one hand they are stating that it is just too damn hard to locate the emails, yet on the other hand they are claiming that somebody is investigating the back up system. So which is it? Talk about a mixed message! This is nothing but a delaying tactic.
Judicial Watch is having none of this excuse:
We obviously disagree that disclosing the emails as required would be onerous, and plan to raise this new development with Judge Sullivan.
This is a jaw-dropping revelation. The Obama administration had been lying to the American people about Lois Lerner’s missing emails. There are no “missing” Lois Lerner emails – nor missing emails of any of the other top IRS or other government officials whose emails seem to be disappearing at increasingly alarming rate. All the focus on missing hard drives has been a diversion. The Obama administration has known all along where the email records could be – but dishonestly withheld this information. You can bet we are going to ask the court for immediate assistance in cutting through this massive obstruction of justice.
Of course all of this requires a willing suspension of disbelief because emails are not stored on hard drives to begin with, they are saved on servers. But at least we now have proof that the emails do still exist, the Federal government is just doing all they can to stall and to keep these records hidden from the American people.
But of course there is not even a smidgen of corruption here…
It makes one wonder if Obama just wants to get past the mid-term elections and then he could ccare less what comes out.

That is the goal in my opinion.

Be nice to have a ‘nonpartisan’ hacker, dig into the matrix, pull out those emails and broadcast them! If the corrupt leaders can have their hackers, so can “the people.”
