The IRS destroyed Lois Lerner’s Blackberry after the investigation began

August 26, 2014

lois lerner As everybody who has been following the IRS targeting scandal already knows, Lois Lerner’s hard drive, as well as six others who were involved in the scandal, conveniently crashed and all emails related to the scandal were supposedly lost when the hard drives crashed even though we now know they were backed up on government servers.

But did you know that the IRS also destroyed Lois Lerner’s Blackberry? Neither did I, but according to this story that is exactly what happened.

  Here is more:

The IRS filing in federal Judge Emmet Sullivan’s court reveals shocking new information. The IRS destroyed Lerner’s Blackberry AFTER it knew her computer had crashed and after a Congressional inquiry was well underway. As an IRS official declared under the penalty of perjury, the destroyed Blackberry would have contained the same emails (both sent and received) as Lois Lerner’s hard drive

With incredible disregard for the law and the Congressional inquiry, the IRS admits that this Blackberry “was removed or wiped clean of any sensitive or proprietary information and removed as scrap for disposal in June 2012.” This is a year after her hard drive “crash” and months after the Congressional inquiry began

And, conveniently once again, there is no evidence that the IRS tried to recover any data which might have been on said Blackberry before it was destroyed:

The IRS did not even attempt to retrieve that data. It cavalierly recites: “There is no record of any attempt by any IRS IT employee to recover data from any Blackberry device assigned to Lois Lerner in response to the Congressional investigations or this investigation,” according to Stephen Manning, Deputy Chief Information Officer for Strategy & Modernization

So, after Lois Lerner’s hard drive crashed, and after the Congress opened up an investigation there was still potential evidence on Lois Lerner’s Blackberry. Instead of trying to preserve whatever records of the targeting scandal still existed on Lois Lerner’s Blackberry the IRS instead decided to destroy her Blackberry, and any evidence which might have been on it disappeared forever.

But fear not for there is not even a smidgen of corruption here…

I’m glad the Obama administration has been so open and transparent with the American people. Just think what would be happening were that not true.

As I recall, her Blackberry was brought up at one of the hearings and the IRS Commissioner responded. It would be great if someone can dig through and find the remarks. No real surprise now is there? Not a smidgen.

Somehow I missed that until now. They just throw so much at us we cannot keep up, and that is done by design.

Yep, they think we’re walls – throw enough stuff on it and see what sticks!
Lois’s photo brought to mind this: Don’t people usually use their ‘index’ finger or pinky to clear their eye? I think she’s sending us a silent message 😥
They’re getting rid of the wrong Blackbaȓi.
I bet the hackers could bring up all the incriminating evidence!

It sure looks like she is giving us the finger, there is also a pic of Obama doing it as well.

1)find the head of the IT department.
2)throw his butt in jail until he talks.
3)if he doesn’t, throw the next senior person in the IT department in jail until they talk.
4)repeat down the chain until you get the e-mails. eventually someone will say “Im not going to jail for you @$$holes” and they’ll produce.

I think you are right: sooner or later somebody will not be willing to take the fall for the higher ups if they see they are serious about getting to the bottom of this. I just don’t think they are serious because the establishment Republicans do not like the Tea Party any more than the Democrats do.

Bottom line is, no one with any authority will step up and bust these asses!!! They know it and they know that WE know it, so they will continue until someone comes forward.

And the reason they won’t go after them is because in the end the establishment Republicans do not like the Tea Party any more than the Democrats do. This is all for show…
