A new report shows there has been no global warming in 18 years

September 8, 2014

global_warming For the sake of this post we will concede the point that at one time there might have been global warming and that it is possible that it was a man-made disaster. Having conceded that point, a new report is out which finds that there has been no global warming for either 17 years and 11 months or for 19 years–depending how one interprets the data.

As this article points out, that means that people who are graduating from high school this year have not seen any global warming in their lifetimes. Yet they are the people most likely to believe this hoax because they have been taught in school their entire lives that global warming exists.

The report goes on to list many excuses why there has been a pause in global warming for nearly 20 years, but none of the excuses states that the computer models might have been wrong.

  Here is more on that:

“Though more than two dozen more or less implausible excuses for the Pause are appearing in nervous reviewed journals, the possibility that the Pause is occurring because the computer models are simply wrong about the sensitivity of temperature to manmade greenhouse gases can no longer be dismissed,”

Yet this possibility is being dismissed as we are now learning that environmental lobbyists have gained unprecedented access to the EPA as that agency continues to write Barack Obama’s radical cap and trade policy into law.

Never let a good crisis go to waste, even when it appears as if said crisis in non-existent. Thesis+antithesis=synthesis. The Hegelian Dialectic on full display…

It is enough to make one long for the good old days of depleted ozone layers and a cooling planet.

Yes, the great ozone hole hoax. Ozone is naturally and constantly created and dissipated when UV hits the atmosphere. The reason the “hole” always appeared over one of the poles is because there was no light for six months during the Winter. No light means no ozone is created–a perfectly natural event!

My cynicism has maxed out and I’ve gotten numb. It doesn’t matter what the facts are, nothing is going to change while Liberal Democrats and RINOs run our government. I don’t expect the Kool Aide swilling masses to understand just yet.

The Global Warming business is turning out to be a very expensive hoax. What else is new? I’m still looking for the next generation of leaders who are going to have to clean up on major mess.

The MSM is still carrying water for Obama, even if their reporting isn’t consistently starry eyed the way it used to be. I’ve actually picked up some articles and opinion pieces from the New York Times about Obama’s screw ups. They’re not as sure of him as they were.

Scandal after eff up after scandal piles up and Obama still has a significant approval rating, even if it’s dropped a bit. Nearly the only thing that hasn’t come up is a white slavery ring.

It’s an outlaw administration, in deeds if not in point of law.

I don’t expect any honesty or justice, let alone statesmanship to come out of Washington for at least 2-1/2 years. I want to know how we’ll rebuild the country then. I figure the next 2+ years are a write off. The best we can hope for is that armed confrontations with Federally commanded police and military don’t happen.

Jeez, even Nixon quit when it got deep enough. Would someone grant Lois Lerner FULL immunity in exchange for her testimony detailing just what was going on? Where’s John Dean when we need him?

OK, back on track. Sorry for the rant, I think I’m happier when I don’t follow the news.

Anthropogenic Global Warming was a hoax from the beginning. One guy with connections figured out how he could rake in millions of Dollars for doing nothing more than signing meaningless pieces of paper.

All he had to do then was grease no more than three and perhaps only one well placed and influential Professor of Climatology and a few years later, Anthropogenic Global Warming was “settled science”.

Remember, our man’s connections go deep in the government. He knows who to talk to to expedite research grants or other government funded programs for universities.

Settled science my aching ass! They started out with statistics on the percentage of “Scientists” who believed in Global Warming, as if facts were something you voted on. Facts are not something you vote on, facts are demonstrably true.

The only fact I’m sure of on the subject of climate is that climate changes. The best information scientists in several different fields have found is that climate always changes. It heats up, it cools down, got it? You can get pretty much the same answers from The Bible for that matter.

Global Warming is nothing more than carefully selected “facts” that make a statistical blip into a centuries long trend.

A close relative was a University Professor. I learned a lot about inside politics among academics.

No need to apologize for the rant, I am sure it was needed. And well said by the way! I also think that as much as I want to see Lerner punished for the IRS scandal it is time to give her immunity so that she can spill the beans because I am sure this goes above her.
The longer the global warming people try to justify the lack of global warming the more credibility they lose. I saw a poll recently which showed more Americans do not believe in it than in recent years so perhaps people are starting to understand what it is about. It is the younger generation which is going to be a problem because it has been taught to them as fact for their whole lives.

Dr. Jeff, you are correct in that climate changes, always has and always will. It all depends on who has the media on their side as to what will be reported….climate change is NATURAL! To think that we have that much effect on Mother Earth is being pretty presumptuous on our part.
As far as your ranting, have been known to do that myself, kind of feels good to let it out, doesn’t it??? Steve doesn’t mind, usually the truth comes out in a rant!

Yes, no problem at all with the rants Lou, in fact that is what I do in many of my posts. It feels good to get it off your chest and that is part of what this blog was designed to allow.

My opinion, for what it is worth, is that the earth will take care of itself. I do not think we, as a human race will have that much effect on her. She will exist long after our species is gone, has happened before, will happen again. Of course we do some damage with trash, but I doubt it makes that much of a difference, some people are just slobs. There is money to be made with “Global Warming” or now “Climate Change”, which change? What warming? Al Gore seems to be making alot of money, doesn’t he? Does he cut back on flying on his jet? Probably not. This is another scare tactic to be used on people that do not really pay attention and think they are doing alot of good driving the electric cars or turning their thermostat down or up. When you hear top people that deal with the climate on a daily basis come out against the thought of global warming being true, do you think we might listen to them? Well? Just because they can buy a few opinions, doesn’t make it so! It is like cholesterol levels and blood sugar levels, once “they” can come up with a number, they can use it to manipulate us and it works with most people….or at least the ones that are gullible. oh well, that is just my opinion!

Exactly Lou, the earth will take care of itself. That is why it is called nature and nature always adapts. This is about elites making money off suckers and government control.

The con game here, again, is for profit and control, The ‘burden of proof’ isn’t on the snake oil salesmen/women who ‘hornswoggle’ the simple minded (who are puffed-up in self-importance), rather on those who question them for evidence to establish the ‘truth’ – which they have nothing to do with!
Seems more are bought in sold into this program of ‘rejecting’ truth and persecute those who stand for it. When they open their mouths to speak, I’m sure invisible termites are emitted rather than anything worth listening to – vile and smelly! 😈

It always boils down to control, doesn’t it, Zip? Wouldn’t you think more people would see this? Maybe they are just focused on the “game” or what they are going to do over the weekend. Live for the day only, that is the mantra of most people. I happen to care what is going to happen to my kids and grand-kids, so I pay closer attention. There are days that I wish I did NOT know what was going on, it would be so much easier and simpler that way.

It is hard to tell which is more important to those who promote this agenda–control or money. But when you think about it they are one in the same so this is a perfect scam for them for they achieve both!

The world is a huge place. Unfortunately, the population has tended to locate in certain locations, particularly cities. Just take a day and fly in a small airplane and one will see vast amounts of wilderness even close to our major population centers here in the U.S.

No kidding Bunkerville. I just spent June and July driving around the United States, 55 days and over 9,500 miles, L.A. to New York City and back in Northern and Southern loops. We have an incredible, diverse and HUGE country. There are great people, great history great sights and great food all over.

What I have noticed in traveling the back roads is the extreme poverty of some of the people that live out from the big cities.

Has that wilderness been scooped up by our Government or bought by foreigners yet, Bunker?

Look at all the areas owned by the Government (especially out West) that we are not allowed to goin to now! I don’t know if we should look at it as being “bought out” or being “sold” to the highest bidder, but either way, we are losing. Pretty soon, the country will be owned by more foreigners than Americans….is there something wrong with this picture?
