IRS Commissioner claims hard drives are still crashing

September 17, 2014

lois lerner  Earlier today IRS Commissioner, John Koskinen, testified in front of the Oversight Committee about the targeting scandal. I did not hear the testimony but it seems as if it revolved around Lois Lerner’s crashed hard drive and Blackberry.

It was more of the same; hard drives crashed, along with Lois Lerner’s Blackberry and the records of the emails are lost. He also claimed that the IRS does not employ an outside agency to back up emails, but he forgot to mention that the IRS did in fact hire an outside agency to do just that but then terminated the contract AFTER Lois Lerner’s hard drive crashed. That tidbit must have slipped his mind…

We already know that the hard drives of six other IRS employees have crashed and the emails were conveniently lost and today John Koskinen testified that IRS hard drives are still crashing to this day.

  Here is what he said:

“Hard drive crashes continue as we speak,” Koskinen admitted at a House Oversight and Government Reform subcommittee hearing when asked if any computers had recently crashed under his watch.

Apparently not all the evidence is lost but they are working hard at it “as we speak.” But we all know that emails are not saved to hard drives, they are saved on servers, so what evidence is being lost in these convenient crashes?

This is speculation but perhaps there is some program or software, or possibly a spreadsheet of some kind which the IRS does not want to be seen. I do not know but I know there is more to this than lost emails for the reason I stated above.

But there is not even a smidgen of corruption here…

Perhaps it is time to swoop in and seize these computers before more evidence is conveniently lost forever.

So many hearings today, so little time for posting! I chose Kerry because I thought that would be the most absurd. It didn’t disappoint. I will try and find a clip of the most absurd statements. The GOP did themselves proud. But then, this was the Senate.

I am right there with you, I just don’t have the time right now to keep up with everything. I just posted about the Kerry hearing and the reaction from Boxer.

I watched some of the Benghazi hearings, Gowdy and Jordan were great and Cummings did not disappoint, either. What shocked me was that one of the witnesses, Starr, said “no comment” to Gowdy and I was disappointed he was not shackled and taken away! NO COMMENT?? The arrogance it takes to do that is amazing. I think that Gowdy was speechless when he said that, as well! I try NOT to listen or look at Kerry, so I hope you can enlighten us, Bunker! As for the computer crashes, I say “what a crock”!!!

I do not expect much to come out of the Benghazi hearings but there is still hope. It is time for people who do not cooperate with the hearings to be held accountable!

Obama has a better chance of destroying ISIS than any senate oversight commission has of getting to the bottom of this herky jerky IRS scandal. But let the charade continue, congress has nothing better to do before Thanksgiving recess .

Sadly you are right, and the truth is that the Republicans do not want the truth to be known because they were involved in all of this. The Hegelian Dialectic…

I find it troubling than none of the over_ is that sight or blind?_ commititee ever raise the issue of the servers. The only reason the emails wouldn’t be on the servers is if the person themselves deleted them.

The reason the Republicans are not mentioning this is because they are in on it. They already know the truth because they were involved, they are simply playing to the base to make it look as though they are doing something.

Ok, I just watched the entire 2 hours or whatever it was on Benghazi,,,,the right had good questions, the left, not so much, but did do damage control. Pretty much what we expect it to be. Good witnesses and then again, the arrogant kind, once again, what we expect it to be. If Gowdy can keep control of it, we might get something from it, but who knows. It will be entertainment anyway.
Oh sorry, wrong posting, this is the EMAIL post, my bad! I will leave this anyway, just FYI!
The Lois Lerner deal will go nowhere, I am afraid. She is sheltered by Holder and she knows it. Unless they haul her away to jail, she is just not going to sing. Koskinen has the usual smirk on his face that he knows he is in the cat bird seat, as well. Unless there are some pretty stiff penalties, what do they have to lose by being smart asses? Too bad they don’t let some of us “average American citizens” question them, I bet WE would get to the bottom of this. There is a time to be gentle and there is a time to be real Bastids and now is not the time to be gentle….we are losing OUR AMERICA!

Neither of these hearings will go anywhere in my opinion because I now believe both the Republicans and the Democrats were in on this. I have become jaded to the whole process and think that this is nothing but a show designed to make us think the Republicans are doing something..and yet I still hold out hope.

Yep, I am still holding out for “something” to happen, the slim chance that it just might!

More and more, I am convinced they are doing their best to play us like fools. Anyone with an iota of common sense knows full well the IRS is lying through their teeth to the American people.

And still they do it, Larry! We allow them to get away with this, I only wish we had more say in the matter. We put our representatives there to DO what we tell them to do. Guess I expected more from them.
