Racist Chris Matthews says Barack Obama is getting lazy
The media has begun to sour on Barack Obama and now, in an attempt to distance himself from the President, Chris Matthews (who has apparently lost that thrill) has stepped over the line and sunk to a new low by implying that Barack Obama was getting “lazy” in his second term.
Here is what he had to say:
“Let’s get tough here. Is this the problem of a second term that presidents get lazy, intellectually lazy, and kinda cut off from the country, and they start picking deputies for jobs instead of looking for the best people? The lazy thing to do is, somebody leaves, you promote their deputy. This is, I think, a big part of the endemic problem of second terms. They don’t get out and mix with people, new people, new hotshots to fill these jobs. They just keep promoting the person whose sorta turn it is and they’re not as good as the person they picked the first time,” he said in a discussion of the failures of the Secret Service.
These disgusting comments cannot go unchecked for there is a tinge of racism behind what he said and I expect the left to hold him accountable. Because as we all know the term ‘lazy’ is a racist dog whistle code word.
After all, here is what Van Jones said about Roger Ailes when he called the president lazy:
“This is the kind of stuff that is really disgusting at the end of the day,” he said. “First of all, Barack Obama’s hair is white. He looks like the black Santa Claus shaved his beard off. You don’t go looking from Tiger Woods to looking like Morgan Freeman in three years if you’re not working hard. There’s a racial charge I think that some people find offensive.”
And of course Colin Powell made the same claim as well while calling out the Republican party’s “dark vein of intolerance.” Here is what he had to say:
When I see another former governor after the president’s first debate where he didn’t do very well, says that the president was lazy. He didn’t say he was slow. He was tired. He didn’t do well. He said he was lazy.
I will be waiting to hear the outcry from the left once they read about what he had to say, because clearly he outed himself as a racist, but somehow I think it will be met with deafening silence.

Chris Matthews still has Miracle Whip oozing down his thighs when making his slavish remarks abouthis hero, his messiah. Take note that he said “presidents” and not naming Obala. Barry is a victim of the office which, through hard work, he has demeaned, shamed and stigmatized forever. Only those on the right always were and remain the racists while those on the left build housing projects and create government dependency which continue to trap generations of those minorities for whom their hearts bleed.

Lou, I saw Elbert Guillory on an interview a while back when if I recall correctly he was still a democrat and ruminating on the idea of changing his party affiliation. You are right in observing he doesn’t directly criticize our second black president.

I did notice he said presidents and did not single out Obama, he still cannot bring himself to admit the whole truth about Obama.

Wonder what he defines as, ‘… looking for the best people’ to fit a job slot, ‘the hotshots’. Isn’t that the more rational (traditional) approach? He turns the focus back around on the SS failures – as if they’re randomly promoted rather than selected. Regarding, ‘getting around and meeting new people’ … his Czars, don’t they count? Where’d he find them? To me he’s exemplifying the “Peter Principle” (add Pan, in the case). The white hair. I wonder if that’s even real (or more theatrics – the image – to show the pressure he’s under and how he’s giving his all – another RUSE). Lying and betrayal can eat away a person’s soul, wear away the outer shell. I’d be surprised Steve if anyone in the main media even associates his use of ‘lazy’ as racist … he didn’t mention the watermelon patch. Yep, probably just silence, turned heads and shaded eyes.
