Here is the open thread for Sunday, October 12th. Please feel free to post links to interesting articles and to discuss whatever issues arise during the course of the day. Nothing is off-topic here.
Last week we covered another 10 stories here at America’s Watchtower. Did you miss any of them? If so there is an easy way to make sure you do not miss another post. In 1941 unprepared for war with rudimentary offensive weaponary the United States entered a world war. The Germans had a standing army of eight million men, the Italians less but still significent in numbet along with the Japanese forces comprised of numbers matching the Germans. Americas stand ing army was royghly 150,000 to 200,000. Yet we set out to fight and win this war on three continents and two oceans along with out allies. And today the greatest and most technologically advanced fighting force the world has ever seen, stands impotent before an army of 25,000 to 50,000 men on a battlefield approximately 250,000 square miles. It seems irrational at best that a countryless band of savages could hold the civilized western world at bay unless one considers that its leader’s not so secret agenda is to castrate his own military, fail to deploy the forces needed to annialate the enemy in the blink of an eye and hamstring the miniscule forces that are reluctantly committed to the fight with insane rules of engagement. And yet half this country’s population kneels at the altar of this criminal who in times past would have not only been impeached but quite possibly mafe to stand trial ad a traitor to his country. A sad commentary indeed on a country, its people its leadership.

Peter, our forces have been down sized, higher ups relieved of command and replaced with “yes men”, salaries brought down so low that they need “assistance” to actually live. Well, Obama has done a hatchet job on our military, I guess is what I am saying. To think these other countries are not afaid of us would probably be about right. We have a VERY weak leader in the White House and he shows it on a daily basis. So, why would anyone be concerned about the USA anymore? I personally think we need to stay the hell out of other countries unless it directly affects the American citizens, but what do I know!!!

They are not afraid of us, that much is clear. They know the military’s ROE are too restricting and they know the CIC is a coward.

Thanks Lou ! Hope The US will get back on its feet in 2016. Until Then it’s free pass to do whatever mess possible…and may be not the poor but the middle class falling down the food chain. So it seems…
For the second video, in my primary school we were doing those same exercise.. without actually realizing what is a nuclear bomb…if we were we could easly stay sitting… come back to the saying we are easly affraid of what we don’t know… unless a political branch tried to scare us …to life !!

One of my friends had a trip planned to Egypt, not sure I would have gone out of the country, but she did it anyway, left on the 9th. Guess I don’t trust what we are being told, so who knows how bad it actually is!

I sure would not go either! I also do not trust what we are being told but I do believe the regime knows how bad it is and they are withholding it from us.

Lorra, it is what we are NOT being told that scares the hell out of me. We get the bits and pieces they hand feed us thru the media and not much more unless we hunt for it, as we do here. It pays to have good sites that we can go to and know there are others out there like us. Sometimes around here, I tend to feel like I am talking to people that only care about golfing or what the score is on a game or going out on their boats, drinking for the weekend. Don’t get me wrong, those things are great on any given day, but I venture to say this is NOT one of those “days” anymore.

Thanks for sharing, I will check it out later tonight. Shortwave radio host Bill Cooper (who was shot and killed by the police in 2001) in the ’90’s predicted an increase in school shootings and an outbreak of ebola in the US. It looks like he was on to something, just his timing was wrong…

Thanks Steve for that link. I’ll look a bit more into again. I was reading & listening some to Stew Webb – who’s in a similar situation – both of them had similar field experience and discuss similar findings. If you had a deadly disease and decided to come to America for treatment would your first choice be Texas when other parts of the nation, such as Boston, are known for their hospitals? That is what I have been asking myself since this story first broke because it seems fishy to me…

Remember the movie ‘Outbreak’ with Hoffman – reminds me of that some. Which again is the propaganda media at plan. Since there is a patent on this, there’s got to be something to it, but like the host states on the vid the vaccines are the real threat. If mandatory, then what? I suggest having some cards printed up like the fake drivers license you buy on the streets, showing ‘you had the shot’ and show that when the DHS/DOH/EPA ‘green coats’ come to get you. Someone can start making money now! Get a template of that card (hackers indulgence!) and start selling them! It is sad though and tough to wake up to the realization that sickies run this world and even if we had the card, but were still ‘alive’, we’d be hauled off to the FeeMaaah camps.

Not trying to TOP you Zip, haha! We share as we see them, that is all. I read, can’t remember where, that the Connecticut Gov. passed a law on people sneezing or coughing. Guess he feels that he can quarantine, time frame undetermined, you just for that. Also, in the article it mentioned mandatory vaccines for Ebola. Care to take a guess on WHAT all might be put into that vaccine? This is getting out of control! I will try and find that article, but I look at so much, might take awhile.

I hope that story is not true but I fear it is. This piggy backs on Obama’s recent EO which allowed for quarantining people with signs of respiratory illness. It is almost as if he saw this coming…
I expect more and more states to follow suit.

Steve, was this the right timing, as well? Flu season and all the coughing and sneezing, etc., just quarantine ALL of us. How convenient! Guess we had all better not make any noises when we go out and hope we don’t have neighbors that don’t like us. It might be funny IF it was not possibly true. A couple of years ago, if I heard someone talking about things I now say or think, I would question what the hell was wrong with them, not anymore. In the very near future, there will be alot of bordering on paranoid people and they will probably be within their rights to feel that way. Those EO’s are something we need to pay real close attention to.
This Administration could stop alot of what is going on, because they have not tells me they are doing it on purpose. We are in trouble.

Lou, I don’t believe in coincidences when it come to politics. There is always an angle and I do not doubt for one moment Obama’s EO was designed to coincide with cold and flu season. And we are seeing the MSM report every single case of people with “ebola type” symptoms, which are the same as cold symptoms. There is no doubt in my mind the MSM and the regime are trying to stoke fear in this country. I am with you, it was not all that long ago that I would have poo-pooed this notion but from what we have seen from Obama I do not doubt he has a plan and he is one step ahead of all of us. Now the Dems are blaming the Republicans for this due to budget cuts and as laughable as it is it just might work.

We’re sure getting a ‘train going here’! I know what you mean Lou about ‘skimming’ so many articles then forgetting which site the one’s on when I what to share it! And ‘yes’ that’s what I was thinking too about the ‘normal colds/allergies’ that can be considered a threat – only coincidence ‘right Steve’ it’s happening this time of year. They can just pull you from a line whether you exhibit anything or not! I don’t like that Zero Hedge article at all! It just shows though those in leadership position will focus their dictatorial & ‘illegally’ authority under the guise of an ’emergency’ [when there isn’t one – they can ‘fabric’ anything and the media will run with it for them]. Those people who believe these liars will ‘want the vaccine’ and be against (or scared) of anyone who opposes it (even turning them in – thinking it ‘right to do’). Regardless of their party affiliation, these politicians will band together for the ‘common cause of safety and health’ = ‘their safety and pocket book health’. A Huge Sham & Shame – but what can be done when the legal force is behind them, when they write whatever they want into law. Well, we’ve come this far as ‘a people’, while the scum having been working on this forever. Bill Cooper didn’t think we’d last this long!

So much for neighbor turning against neighbor (we all have that one neighbor that we do not get along with)….of course our government would never steer us wrong, would they? All of this will be for our own good. Right? I keep hearing on the radio, I think I mentioned before about the flu shot for seniors, it is 4 times the strength of a normal one. Why? Do seniors need something that strong? Will it be mandatory, as well? I bet they start really pushing it, to enforce taking it. Alot of people do not want it and do not get it. Could this be a way to make us take it, so they can tell if we have flu OR ebola? I know it sounds stupid, but after seeing what all they can and might put in the shot, I know alot of people that will never take it, or at least not willingly. I just see this leading to a world that makes us comply with certain things. Our kids in school are already being brainwashed, so that is going as planned. It is the older people that will be putting up a fight.

Zip, I would love to hear what Bill Cooper had to say about this. It would probably be I told you so. There is no doubt in my mind the EO was timed to coincide with flu season. It is pretty scary to think you can be dragged away for sneezing.
Lou, don’t forget that Obama started that website at the beginning of his presidency that asked people to turn in their neighbors. (attackwatch or something like that) So I wouldn’t be surprised if he asked people to turn in neighbors for sneezing.

Ya, I remember that Steve. Didn’t the Walmart monitors have Big Sis on them telling us if we see something, say something? You know we already have the mandatory shots for kids or they cannot go to school. What is to say, since they are pushing the pneumonia, shingles and flu shots for the seniors, that they do not start making them mandatory? Guess my fear is that they can put whatever they want into the shots and we would never know it. Have I become that cynical? Yep, I have!

I forgot about the Walmart monitors but they did have them. Kind of Big Brother-ish if you ask me. My wife works in a nursing home and this year she was forced to get a flu shot, so I am sure it is coming…

The MO for this tyranny gov. is to ‘experiment somewhere else 1st’ then bring it on in. Or they can just add it to the ChemTrail sprays for a subtler method (disguised).

As a new EMT, back in the 90’s I had to take the Hepatitis B 3 shot series, did not want to, but did so I could work. Of course we were tested for TB at times. What I worried about was getting a needle stick and HIV, but that never happened, still you tested for it. Working for clinicals in the ER, you were always apprehensive when you had to do any blood work on an HIV positive patient, Glad I am not doing any of that now. I hope your wife, Steve, is very careful. Hopefully in a nursing home, she will not see much of that. These are scary times now, with all that has come into this country. I have a feeling the ER’s are seeing alot of diseases that they thought were eradicated.
Zip, as I have said before, had we talked about some of the stuff we are posting a few years ago, people would have thought we were crazy….now, I think some eyes are opening up. Kind of like the deer in the headlight look, but still being opened.

Much of those diseases are from immigrants coming in (esp. illegally). Reminds me of what they did to the Native Indians: giving them diseased contaminated blankets. Same sickie mindset.

I hope someone can do a roll over. I was looking at a guy who sells old movie projectors and he was featuring this old cartoon. Sure, some parts aren’t as “correct” as they should be, but it breaks my heart to see how how much “ISM” we have signed up for.

If you look in the bottom right hand corner of the video you will see where is says You Tube. If you click on that it will take you directly to the You Tube video. If you copy the You Tube address (you might not want to include the http:// portion of the link, I am not sure) you can then paste it in a comment and the video will show up in the comment. I think if you include the http:// is will only give you a link to the You Tube video.

Life has a way of getting in the way sometimes, guess we are making time with this being so fast moving and in our faces now. Not just a matter of reading anymore, we need to “talk” about this stuff.
