Nancy Pelosi lies about not knowing who Jonathan Gruber is

Earlier today Nancy Pelosi was asked about Jonathan Gruber and his comment about deceiving stupid American voters in order to get Obamacare passed and, predictably, she tried to distance herself from him.
She event went so far as to make the claim that she had no idea who he was and that he did not write the legislation.
Here is what she said:
“I don’t know who he is. He didn’t help write our bill,” she told reporters at her weekly briefing.
There is just one small problem with that statement, here is what she said in 2009:

I cannot wait until they have this Gruber fellow testifying at a Committee hearing. I would pay the price of admission. Still, no media coverage, but Krauthammer says to hold out and just let him explain himself.

I plan to go into my Congressperson’s office and ask how they explain this obvious lie. I imagine they will come up with lots of reasons. I hope to tell them that I call it “being a democrat”.
