Open thread for Sunday, November 23rd: Speak my Language
Here is the open thread for Sunday, November 23rd. Please feel free to post links to interesting articles and to discuss whatever issues arise during the course of the day. Nothing is off-topic here.
This was a busy week at America’s Watchtower as we discussed another 17 topics, and it was a little more diverse with a little less Jonathan Gruber. Did you miss any of them? If so there is an easy way to make sure you do not miss another post. I understand that all of you are busy and cannot always find the time to check the blog for updates so why not subscribe to America’s Watchtower and receive email updates whenever I write a new post? That is the easiest way to follow the blog to ensure you never miss another post.
In addition to subscribing you can also follow America’s Watchtower on Facebook and Twitter by clicking the links on the right. But you will get more than that for I often post links to articles I probably will not be writing about so it is a great way to keep up with what is happening.
The Twitter widget in the sidebar is fully interactive. This widget updates my tweets in real time and allows you to respond to or retweet my tweets right from the blog. It also allows you to tweet me right from America’s Watchtower. How cool is that! If you do not have a Twitter account what better reason do you need to sign up for one!?
With Barack Obama making his immigration/amnesty Proclamation on Thursday I thought of the song ‘Speak my Language’ by The Cure so that is what I am going to go with for the musical selection this week even though it has nothing to do with immigration.
When Robert Smith felt the band was getting pigeon-holed into the whole goth-gloom genre he decided to change things up a bit and The Cure released several upbeat singles which included piano/synth and no guitars and this is the result. It was quite a departure for the band at the time.
I like to post live videos but to the best of my knowledge this song has only been recorded live one time and there is no video and the audio is bad so I give you this instead.

Love the B-52s as well and these are two great songs. My wife and I saw them years ago, if I am not mistaken it was the year Love Shack came out, and it was one of the best concerts I have been to. I believe Ziggy Marley opened up for them.

Thanks to you.. True Starting the morning with such Tempo..and here a toast “Hop” and there is the Coffee..Things are done in no time, it change from the funeral march of some morning…Lol 😉 🙂

Some morning are “questionable” on even getting out of bed, aren’t they? But, still we do it, still we do it. Wouldn’t it be different to have a check deposited in your checking account on the 3rd of the month and all the extra free-bees along with that check? You could lay around in bed til late afternoon before getting up and start the NIGHT? Somehow I think that might get a little old for someone that actually thinks about stuff and cares about what happens, On second thought, as nice as that might sound I doubt that those of us on this blog would find that attractive! We have pride and that is what is missing for the generational welfare recipients. They just do not have the ambition to get out and try and make something out of what they have been given. There is the difference. Our government LOVES people like that, they are so easy to control, just threaten to withhold that check!

Ferguson Business owners would do well to hire SECURITY FORCES to protect and shield their property. Even thought the WH promotes ‘Stay the course’ vandalism, Americans don’t have to put up w/ it! It’s a “Workers of Iniquity” mindset we’re fighting and it comes from the top down – look how they got the “National Response Network” organized – that’s the Regime thumbprint, not blacks on welfare doing it! It is going to get very ugly in Ferguson and I don’t think it even matters which way the jury goes. There will be riots even if the jury indicts Wilson, after all we live in a culture where rioting is a natural reaction to a sports team winning the championship.

Yep, I agree Steve. I’m glad that they held off on the verdict. Probably put a ‘crimp’ in the Martial Law takeover plans. That’s what gets me about that Ferguson Network page being so organized. Reminds me of Acorn. No looter put that together (…let me rephrase that: no welfare street person orchestrated it – it look a lot like a “Move along” org looter). The trolls are hitting hard today – the Blacklisted news page and DC clothes – they have their fangs showing – they want to see blood in the streets (all over America). Protesting is one thing, using it to loot, ransack a business and physically fight someone, that NOT protesting – using this as an ‘excuse’ to be unlawful, just like their leader Obala.

I bet alot of the larger businesses in St. Louis have their private security force already there. It is probably the small businesses that are going to suffer and for WHAT? Because the mass love to riot and tear up other peoples stuff and steal from them? They need to go to jail, but doubt many of them will. Obama and Holder have given their blessings, so it is an all out war on whoever they can do the most damage to. If most of them, like us, had jobs, they would not be able to take off work and do this. Funny how that happens when you are a responsible adult, you have responsibilities you cannot get out of. Hmmmm!

PS, my friend refers to them as “rat bastids” (misspelled on purpose), but I kind of like that term, has a nice ring to it. I, on the other hand will be labeled a “racist” for the rest of my life, because I am conservative AND of Irish background),guess I am a “MICK”!!!

Responsible and self-sufficient? Of course he is a threat to society, we have to be dependents! That is how it is supposed to work. Minding your own business is not how the NWO is going to be, we all have to be beholding to “The One:, whoever that will be. In other words, you cannot NOT have to depend on the government.

The more I hear about the rioting, burning, stealing going on in Ferguson, the more I remember the thought process of kids I went to school with in East St. Louis. Obviously it has just not changed very much. It is passed down from generation to generation and is not going to change until the welfare checks are gotten with stipulations. As long as there is no incentive to better ones self, that will never happen. What I see in the videos took me back to the 60’s and being in school, it was not a pleasant memory. My dad was also a life long police office in that city I grew up in and I cannot imagine they would have been told to stand down, more or less. This Administration is playing with fire with the control that is coming out of it and the peons are playing right into their game. I have a feeling that they think they are making things better for the black race and I think it is the opposite for them.
