Elizabeth Warren claims she is not running for President

December 15, 2014

elizabeth-warren  An interesting thing has happened since the cromnibus bill was passed: Ted Cruz has been ridiculed for nearly shutting the government down while Elizabeth Warren is being hailed as a middle-class warrior for doing the same.

The calls for Mrs. Warren to run for President have been growing since last week’s showdown to the point where 300 former Obama campaign staffers have sent her a letter stating she should throw her hat into the ring.

Despite this the senior Senator from Massachusetts appeared on CNN and stated repeatedly that she is not going to run for the Presidency.

Here is how it went down:

Inskeep: “Senator Warren, as you must know that even as you were fighting over this in the Senate, there was a group called ‘Ready for Warren’ that want you to run for the president that released a letter signed by more than 300 people who describe themselves as former Obama campaign workers and staffers and aides. They want you to run. What do say to them?”

Warren: “I’m not running for the president. That’s not what we’re doing. We had a very important fight in the United States Congress just this past week and I’m putting all my energy into that fight, into what happens after this.”

Inskeep: “Would you tell these independent groups, ‘Give it up.’ You just never going to run.”

Warren: “I told them, ‘I’m not running for president.'”

Inskeep: “You are putting that in the present tense tough. Are you never going to run?”

Warren: “I’m not running for president.”

Inskeep: “You’re not putting a ‘never’ on that?”

Warren: “I’m not running for president. Do you want me to put an exclamation point at the end?”

She sounds pretty adamant, doesn’t she? But this reminds me of a position another first-term Senator said at around this same time in a previous campaign and he still–unfortunately–occupies the White House so take it for what it is worth.

We do have to give Senator Warren a little bit of credit however because at least she has a little more experience working in the private sector than Barack Obama did. Of course she used that time to flip houses–and loan money to family members so they could do the same–to take advantage of the woes of many middle-class families to become a millionaire.

  How quickly they forget…

Right, she supports the Import-export bank, yet not so much Citi group. Run Liz Run. Lets have some fun. We can Gruberrize her clips from her past.

She should be easy to defeat and it should be fun, however the left does not seem to care about her past so I would not be surprised if she were to pull it off.

Another wordsmith? She’s not “running”. She’s “walking” for president.

she always has that “deer in the headlights” look, doesn’t she?

that’ll scare our enemies as commander in chief!
“look out the american leader is confused! it’ll be a good 20 minutes before she figures out what just happened!”

And now Bush is in! There is no doubt in my mind that sooner or later Warren will change her mind and I am getting the feeling that if she does she will actually win the nomination over Hillary.
