Establishment Republicans plot to oust Mike Lee in 2016

December 23, 2014

Mike_Lee I have been stating for quite some time now that the establishment Republicans and the Democrats in Washington are on the same side–they are ruling class elitists who care most about protecting themselves–and if this story is true we have another example.

John Boehner has already punished several conservative Republicans in the House by removing them from committee positions for failing to fall in line and now it appears as if very powerful people are attempting to oust Mike Lee by giving him a primary opponent when he is up for reelection in 2016.

  Here is more:

As the 43-year-old Lee plots his 2016 reelection bid, he is courting business leaders under the radar, hoping to head off a primary challenge backed by business leaders and other establishment figures in his home state, like billionaire Jon Huntsman Sr., an influential bank CEO and a former Utah GOP party chairman.

Some powerful establishment Republicans in Utah are tired of Lee’s hard-line positions. He stood with Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas last year when the federal government closed and again this month when they tried to take on President Barack Obama on immigration but ended up giving Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada leverage to confirm controversial nominations.

Damn him! How dare he try to make good on campaign promises, doesn’t he understand he is making the liars and the scoundrels in Washington look bad? Do you still think the establishment Republicans are on our side?

And just for the record; the notion that Ted Cruz and Mike Lee enabled Harry Reid to push through Obama appointees with their maneuver on Barack Obama’s Executive amnesty is a lie put forth by the Republican establishment in order to discredit these two. Harry Reid was going to prolong the Senate session anyway.

Joseph Goebbels would be proud of the establishment Republicans for they repeated the lie until if became the truth…

Who do most of the Wall Street types donate to? The establishment Democrats or establishment Republicans. They pay for the campaigns that convince people to suppor their candidates. Until or unless the voters learn to think for themselves, we will get more of Boehner and Pelosi type and more of Hillary or Jeb or Mittens type.

They hedge their bets by donating to both parties and we are the ones who suffer for it!

Being from Chicago, I understand playing both sides against the PEOPLE … but do the people? Mayor Daley picked his opponent and paid them off with a pittance number of jobs … no different than D.C.!

Republicans cannot be trusted. Evidently, many think, to drive them all out takes letting it collapse. That won’t work for you nailed it; given the chance, their corruption will lead us into slavery . . . The far left and right are saying somewhat the same things but see different solutions. Face it; they HAVE divided and conquered.

Essentially, Armageddon looms; Iran has the bomb.

There is a reason our forefathers set up our government the way they did! Whether the people survive or not hangs in the balance. Armor Up!

Nice find. Not surprising. It is interesting that the South has joined together to hold a “super” primary – early enough to maybe get a Conservative moving for the 2016 election. Otherwise we will lose again with another Bush. Every now a flicker of hope.

If Jeb is nominated we face another defeat, hopefully that will not happen but he will have the money behind him.
