Mitt Romney is seriously considering running for President in 2016
Earlier today Mitt Romney told a group of donors that he is seriously considering running for President in 2016. Here is more:
Mitt Romney, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee, told Republican donors in New York on Friday that he is seriously considering a third presidential campaign in 2016, according to a source present at the meeting.
This is what his former(?) finance co-chairman had to say about this news:
“I believe Mitt Romney is too much of a patriot to sit on the sidelines and concede the presidency to Hillary Clinton or Elizabeth Warren when he knows that he can fix the country,” Zwick said. “He traveled the country in 2014, met with voters, met with citizens, and I think at the end of the day he believes he could actually make a difference.”
This could be one of the worst kept secrets in politics, at least for readers of America’s Watchtower, for I first wrote about this possibility back in January of 2014. You can read that post here if you so desire.
With the rumors refusing to fade away Mitt Romney ruled out a potential third bid for the Presidency in March of 2014, however in October of 2014 we learned that Mitt Romney’s Presidential aspirations were not dead yet.
So now we have come full circle and Mitt Romney is seriously considering running for President in 2016–just another flip-flop from the former Governor of Massachusetts…
If Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Chris Christie are the best candidates the Republicans can field we might just as well conceded the Presidential election right now.

I don’t like watching re-runs on TV and I feel the same way about elections. I will never again vote for the lessor evil. I think the GOP is committing suicide.

The GOP establishment will eventually coalesce around one of these guys and throw the money behind the chosen one and that person will be the nominee.

Jim, I think “the one” has already been picked, it will not matter who we campaign for or vote for. However, you already knew that!

Sadly you are right, we only have the illusion of choice!

Oh, please I hope you don’t. It is so much joy to watch and listen to the Republican’T Party clown circus and all its characters. Where would all the reactionary rubes who enjoy getting fleeced by the old white guy party go? Maybe Gohmert from Texas can run as VP.

No ‘Real Pro-America’ need apply. Strange how all these prez have ties to the secret societies that are intertwined w/ a anti-American Constitution philosophy and Globalist. At this point, Zip, I really do not want to hear about WHO is going to run. There is crap on the Democratic side and there is crap on the Republican side, oh,,,,,who will come out the top two? Right now, it really doesn’t make a hill of beans, WHO it will be, different name, same stripe down their backs, all wooses afraid to stand up for WE THE PEOPLE!

People can downplay the secret societies as conspiracy theories but the fact is that these people are in the highest positions in the world. The left likes to claim it is the rich who are controlling everything, but they need to look into what organizations these people belong to, they may be surprised to find a common bond besides money.

They are just doing a “sting” on all of us, left and right! You are right, people would have that “oh” look on their faces if they knew who was pulling the strings. We are but useful idiots that give them money to keep the country running and to feed the stupid people that will not work for their own keep. I do not know about you, but, I am getting tired of carrying the burden for those that CAN, but WON’T!

Still looking, awaiting a dark horse. Dreams are free.

Ya, I doubt there will be that dark horse surfacing. The problem with an actual conservative coming forward is that they will tear him/her apart! I do not mean the Democrats, I mean the Republicans….I have gotten to the point, I don’t like much of any of them, but a choice handful. When a person has to dislike the party he/she has been affiliated with and the other party is not any option, then what?

Americans don’t care enough to start a new party, but that is what must be done.

I guess you have to wonder if it is too late for that, as well. It would take a long time to get something like that up and running and I think we are just out of time. I hate to think we have to settle for the “lesser than 2 evils”, as they say. People are afraid of what they do not know and they know the Dems and Reps, but do they really?????

It really is more than time for a third party but if ever a viable party came onto the scene we would learn very quickly how closely aligned the Democrats and the Republicans are because they would band together to take down the threat to their power from an outsider.

Yep, I think you are right, they would have to play their cards at that point and blow their cover. Did you ever think it would escalate so fast? These last 6 years there has been so much more deception and plain evil than I ever remembered before Obama took office. Maybe I am just paying closer attention, or maybe I am getting older and wiser, whatever it is, we have to stop it.
