The State Department admits Hillary Clinton probably did not sign a separation form

March 17, 2015

For the last several days the State Department has been scrambling to determine whether or not Hillary Clinton signed a separation agreement declaring that she turned over all official State communications when she resigned as Secretary of State but have been unable to do so. Hillary Clinton ducked the question recently when it was asked of her. This led to speculation she might have committed a felony by signing the form while possibly hiding communications within her personal email server.

Today the State Department has admitted there is no record that Hillary Clinton signed any such document, here is more:

The State Department has no record that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton signed a standard form declaring that she surrendered all official records before leaving her post in 2013, a spokeswoman said Tuesday.

“We have reviewed Secretary Clinton’s official personnel file and administrative files and do not have any record of her signing the” form, State spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters at a regular briefing.

“I think we’re fairly certain she did not. We do not have record of it,” the spokeswoman said.

The State Department has also confirmed there is no record of either Condoleezza Rice or Colin Powell signing a separation form either, which leads one to wonder why there is a regulation in place which nobody seems to feel the need to follow and, furthermore, why there is no punishment in place (according to the State Department) for those who fail to fill out the form.

“It’s not clear that this form is used as a part of a standard part of checkout across the federal government or even at the State Department,” she said. “We’re looking into how standard this is across the federal government and certainly at the State Department. … I don’t want to characterize how common practice it is.”

While the department’s Foreign Affairs Manual declares that “a separation statement will be completed whenever an employee is terminating employment,” Psaki insisted that Clinton’s departure without signing the form didn’t run afoul of any directive.

“We’re not aware of any penalty for not signing it,” Psaki said. “It’s not a violation of any rule.”

I find that to be interesting, don’t you? The manual seems to say one thing while the Psaki is saying another. It seems to me that it would be common sense that when an employee leaves a position as important as Secretary of State that that employee should have to sign a statement saying all official documents have been turned over but apparently nobody has been following up on it and it has not been seen as an issue until now. So is the State Department in CYA mode? It certainly seems to be the case to me. It leads one to wonder what the State Department has been hiding all these years…

Of course it should not be forgotten that Barack Obama promised to change the way the Federal government conducted its business and it should not be forgotten that he promised to have the most open, honest, and transparent administration in United States history because it seems as if nothing has changed under his watch, especially in light of the news he has quietly changed a regulation which further exempts the White House from FOIA requests….

Thanks for sharing that! Once again Barack Obama’s actions are not the same as his rhetoric…

Either way, this is a distraction. We are talking about a server sitting who knows where with who knows who reading classified material. They will focus on the agreement, follow the servers! 🙂

They are covering their butts and what they cannot cover, they will have a new “incident” that can be brought out…..nothing of great importance, you understand, but something we can all FOCUS on for awhile. He is making new laws as he goes along, don’t like this one, change it, don’t like something else, EO, etc. Congress is becoming a branch that will slowly be cut off, piece by piece, until it no longer functions. That is happening now, however, they are still making a showing for us, to prove their worth for what we are paying them.

I am sure there will be another distraction soon and it will probably be about the Lynch nomination. The left is invoking race again, saying the Republicans have sent her to the back of the bus…

Well, she can go to the back of the bus, I have been in the back numerous times and it isn’t so bad! Actually the back is a pretty nice ride! All they need to do is bring that race card out and the Republicans will run scared, a bunch of wooses! Bottom line is that she is worse than Holder and that cannot be allowed to happen, it has absolutely nothing to do with her color, she is just not the best candidate for the job. I am sure we can find someone that will actually be the Attorney General for ALL of the American people, not just Holders “people”, as he called them. That right there shows that HE was the racist, not the American people. There was not near the problem with race, until we had the race baiters, now look what it has caused!!!

I sure will, I hope Boehner makes good on his promise and the Republicans go after it but after all this time I am sure there is nothing left on it.
