MSNBC guest claims Ted Cruz likes country music because ‘nothing says let’s go kill some Muslims like country music’

March 25, 2015

Ted_CruzThe mainstream media, predictably, has stepped up its attacks on Ted Cruz in an attempt to marginalize him since he announced he was running for the Presidency in 2016–and leading the way is the propaganda arm of the Democratic party, otherwise known as MSNBC.

But today MSNBC reached a new low–even for them–when a guest stated that the reason Ted Cruz likes country music is because “nothing says let’s go kill some Muslims like country music.” And “straight from Lynchberg Virginia.” In addition to slandering Ted Cruz this guest slandered the residents of a State, all country music singers, and all country music fans and this is unacceptable.

This came about because Ted Cruz admitted that after the terrorist attacks on September 11th his musical tastes began to change because he liked the product country musicians were turning out in response to the attack. I am not a fan of country music but many of the artists are known for singing songs about God and country and, let us face it, these are two issues which many on the left have a problem with and I think it was evident here. (I have never heard a country song call for the killing of Muslims.)

ministry_of_propaganda MSNBC has now apologized for this segment but when you hear the host laugh at this comment (you can watch the video in the links I have provided) it makes one wonder how sincere the apology really is.

There are many legitimate issues the left can disagree with Ted Cruz on without stooping to this level but there is apparently nothing MSNBC will not do in order to take him down and this is a perfect example.

On a side note: Do you remember when John Kerry was running for President in 2004 and he claimed he was “fascinated by rap?” Of course we all know that in all likelihood John Kerry has never listened to rap music and that this was nothing but a silly attempt to  play to the black community in an attempt to win over their votes and yet I do not recall MSNBC ever questioning his motives…

    Geez. Pathetic.

I like country music. I’ve never heard one even mention muslims or islam. They talk about trucks and drinking and whiskey and beer and girls and God and drinking and love and America and broken hearts and racing and beer and cars and girls and whiskey….wait, I think I may have repeated myself a few times… 😉

Like you I question whether Ted Cruz is eligible to run however when I see something like this I have to defend him and the fact that MSNBC is this upset at the prospects of a President Cruz makes me like his candidacy even more. If nothing else, watching the left implode over his candidacy makes for great entertainment…

I spent the day being attacked and called all kinds of names simply because I follow the Constitution as it was written. The Founders never defined nbc because it was common knowledge then, they didn’t feel the need to define something that everyone knew.

Regardless, the Founders definition of nbc is one born on US soil to two citizens. That definition stands today because it has never been changed by amendment. Even the 14th doesn’t define it. We know this is their definition because our government was still using that same definition one hundred years later. Minor vs. Happersett shows us this and the link I posted regarding Rep. Bingham shows this, also.

I’m exhausted and very discouraged to know that the right is no different from the left when it comes to following the Constitution.

Dismiss, deny, deflect, deride. I got that all day. I was even accused of being a chauvinist and trying to marginalize a person’s rights. Sigh. I’ve given up for the day. 🙂

You are exactly right, unfortunately. Most people only care about the Constitution when it can be used for their benefit but when it gets in the way they are willing to ignore it. This is a great example of the way people who claimed they care about the Constitution showing their true colors. There is only very minor differences between the two parties at this point, they agree on many of the large issues and only differ slightly when it comes to implementing these issues.

I saw that. I also read, have not verified it yet, that he supports the Trans Pacific Partnership. This is a trade agreement obama is trying to fast track. He is keeping everything secret and has shut Congress out…again! This treaty cedes our sovereignty and is very bad for the Country.

Things must be slow for the ones dishing the dirt! I wonder who they have coming up with the crap, anyway! The comparison is stupid and guess they think we are stupid, as well. Bottom line is once they get something out there, they know their cheerleaders will run with it, no matter how stupid it IS! So, they pick Cruz off now, who is up next in the batters box? Will they try and take them down one at a time? Of course with the medias help this will be done. It is only getting started and it is going to go into “overtime” when all is said and done. Makes one wonder how this generation of “reporters” sleep at night, doesn’t it? I am not a huge fan of country music, but when it is compared to alot of the crap out there right now, it is actually not all that bad. Killing Muslims and country music songs, go hand in hand? Well, that is just plain STUPID!I

I’ve spent some time lately trying to understand Liberals. So many of their positions and statements are so hateful with so little basis in fact that I really want to know how supposedly sane human beings can say such things.

Two thoughts predominate. The first is that the Liberals have come to believe their own press releases. They no longer care to dabble in the inconvenient truths of the world. They are completely dependent on their Leaders to tell them what to think.

The second has been more puzzling, because the Liberal party line is strange by any standard. To believe it, you have to believe that Western Civilization and the United States in particular is so inherently evil that it must be destroyed and replaced with a kinder, gentler civilization, like an Islamic Caliphate for example.

But why? So much of that flies in the face of facts and logic, that it’s hard to get your head around the absurdities or even count them all. For easy example, one Liberal of my acquaintance went on an insane rant about how immigrants were willfully mistreated when they passed through Ellis Island. His family and my family both went through Ellis Island without even a hint of abuse, yet he insisted the immigrants were mistreated. Anything that might be considered pro U.S. sets him off.

I finally got it. Many human being are Haters, pure and simple. Now being a Hater is generally condemned and for good reason. So what’s a modern Hater to do? Why become a Liberal Democrat of course! You’ve got lots of people telling you who it’s ok to hate! As long as you only hate the “right” people, you even get applauded for your hatred. Gawd, it must be wonderful to be a Liberal and have your sins forgiven.

When you hear some of the outrageous comments made by some of the people on the left (like this woman for example) it is hard not to conclude there is at least a tinge of hate prevalent on the left. They become so heated when somebody does not agree with them that sometimes they fly of the handle and show their true colors. It is impossible for somebody to say something like this and not have some hatred built up inside.

Dr. J., some people are just plain evil from birth? Isn’t it possible that being raised in a household with all Democrats or all Republicans, talk could sway you to become the same OR be shunned by the family if you turn and “run” to the other party? I had one parent of each party, my 2 brothers became Democrats (although my oldest brother, the one still living has changed his mind with the 2nd term of Obama) and I became a Republican. They never understood how I could vote Republican, but now have had a change of heart since all this is taking a toll on his “purse”. Funny how that works. He thought the Democrats were for the people and the Republicans were for corporations, maybe he has a bit of a point, but who knows. I would say the Democrats are for the people IF they can control them and all they do. Republicans are more Capiltalists (big business and starting businesses), but isn’t that a benefit for the economy, so for the people, too? I just do not have an answer for why a person is one or the other, but if you ever find out, please let us know! I think that once something is said enough times or done enough times, it becomes the “normal”, so maybe that is it. Put it out there on the air waves or tube and they have the ones that will not think for themselves, they reel them in and they do not question anything, maybe it is just to hard tfor some to wrap their brain around right and wrong now. So, as I said, get back to us IF you run across the answer.

You are right, somebody in Europe in the 1930’s said if you repeat a lie loud enough and long enough it will become the truth…

As I have said before, this Administration has the mantra of “lie, deny and make them prove it”, it is very fitting for them.
