MSNBC panel: Hillary Clinton is running the most ‘contrived-appearing campaign ever’

April 19, 2015

Hillary ClintonBecause Hillary Clinton left the lavishes of the White House dead-broke she can relate to the average American citizen, and to prove this she launched her now infamous Scooby van tour of Iowa to meet with average Americans on a personal level. I feel your pain because I also had that pain.

Of course Hillary Clinton has been in the public eye for many years and she is not an average American and, try as she might, she will never be able to really understand the problems many Average Americans face on a daily basis. That is what made her Scooby tour seem so contrived–nobody is buying it and in fact it was more than a little embarrassing for her to even make this attempt for it is fooling nobody.

But how contrived was it? It was so contrived that even the propaganda arm of the Democratic party, otherwise known as MSNBC, had to call it the “most contrived-appearing campaign ever.”

Here is part of what the MSNBC panel had to say:

“I wish I could sit here and say it’s been a wonderful week for Hillary Clinton, but it hasn’t. All political campaigns are contrived,” said Forbes’ Rick Ungar. “But the whole point of a good one is to contrive the campaign to not appear contrived. And I don’t think I’ve seen a more contrived-appearing campaign ever. It’s just been horrible.”

“It’s been a huge distraction, I think. I think the problem is that we didn’t even know that she was talking about these messages because it was too busy talking about where Scooby Doo minivan is going or whether she tipped the server over in Chipotle. And, you know, this staged Iowa appearance with the family. I think it’s just been a disaster for the first week for Hillary Clinton. The message is getting lost.”

Of course host Steve Kornacki had to come to the former Secretary of State’s defense:

“I’m not sure it’s been that disastrous,” Kornacki said. “It does look contrived, and politics generally does looked contrived. But I don’t know that she’s in a worse place than she was a week ago.”

I have to believe Mr. Kornacki is right: while conservative websites and blogs had a field day with Hillary Clinton’s campaign roll-out in the end it will be forgotten and will not matter. I believe we have seen the last of the Scooby van and I expect Mrs. Clinton to shed the faux-humility and begin a more normal campaign.

But still we might as well have a little fun with it while it lasts so here is the video of the MSNBC panel discussing the disastrous Scooby tour:

Of course this could be just an attempt by MSNBC to give Hillary Clinton a little advice moving forward because the network has more credibility with the far left than the conservative websites and blogs, and that advice is…drop the charade. I think she will listen.

I don’t think she wants or even cares to ‘feel the pain’ of those who she’s helped burden. And I bet the inside of her ‘humble’ van is nothing like we’ve ever seen or ridden in! Was a conner always a conner and she knows how to do it well. What does it matter to her the sexual preference of her peasants. Theatrics. Probably paid actors playing the role of asking her questions ‘out in the street’. Just like the Boston Marathon all show, all staged.

Yes, the whole thing was staged but in this case it was so obvious that even MSNBC had to call her out. As you said, she is nothing but a con artist!

I told the breakfast group something similar this morning.
This is all for show, well fine. But is should be a good show. Like any performer taking their skit on the road, there may be a few flubs. But how in hell do you not know where your grand parents came from? I don’t care how many stories you heard, if you are the smartest woman in the world, it shouldn’t be hard to figure out. If you aren’t up to doing a show, stay in the damn van! Don’t go into Chipolte “incognito” just send a flunkie to get your food. And if you are trying to mix with the ordinary folk, loose the ugly neon green bath coat. They know who you are! After all, you hand picked them!
Hill-a-beans has been running for President since being the First Lady of Arkansas. Given that, this is a terrible performance.
Thank God the MSM will never turn on her. Criticize, maybe, but turn, never.

So very true Bruce, this apparently was not very well thought out and if this were a Republican it might be the end for him but because the MSM will never turn on her it will be a hiccup. Lying about your grandparents is something that should not be forgiven and it is not the first time she lied about something like this. Remember when she claimed she was named after a mountain climber>

It looks to be real, the Hildebeast got caught with her hand in the cookie jar and it’s being reported by no less a source than The New York Times. If the allegations bear out, there may even be indictments.

It’s just logic and common sense that if you are an elected official, especially holding such a high office as SoS, you can’t get donations from any foreign country. Duh!

Of course, it’s just logic and common sense that only constituents be permitted to donate to a candidate anyway. But who cares about that…

Bruce, most of the Republicans are pretty slow on the pick up, there are a few sharp ones that know what is going on, but very few. I thought all that money (donations) was going into their Clinton Foundation? Surely that is ok to do, right? Right? They sure know how to play us, don’t they? Having a foundation must be a middle class thing, I guess!

No question Lou, “slow” is a nice way to put it. But I like to think that is because we are occupied by “silly” things like family, work, and church,
As for the her Foundation, only “mean” republicans would criticize such fine work. After all, you don’t think the Saudis would know how to donate directly to Haiti directly do you?

Steve, I doubt whether they will ever be proactive, until all the old RINO’s die off. Of course there are others just waiting in the wings, to take their place. At the ripe old age of 61, I have decided I do NOT need to be nice to everyone and I have earned the right to be a witch now and then. I have decided that not everyone has to like me and I am finding fewer and fewer people that I actually like myself. Do you think I am turning into a Democrat, haha???

Bruce, we are preoccupied, I guess. There seems to be more things that we put first than the “party”, I have to think that is still a good thing.

You know I have to wonder if Clinton is just not thrown out there for us to focus on for now. And that she is not going to go all the way as a candidate and back out at the last minute, for the good of the party. In the back of my mind, I think there is someone else in the wings that is going to blindside us. Maybe it is just me thinking that way, who knows. She just doesn’t seem to care much about any ones opinion of her, that is what makes me wonder. The way she is out driving around, there is just something wrong with the whole thing.

Hmmm….do you think hillary would go along with that? That she would do all this knowing she would have to back out at the last minute? That she would spend all that money, get so close, again? Why would she do that? What’s in it for her? VP, maybe? I don’t know, she wants it sooooo badly. Well, I’m no good at predicting things like this. 🙂

Ha, now I have put that doubt in both your minds! See how easy it was? The thing is, we just do not know what they will do, do we? The Republicans are predictable, but the Democrats are not that easy to see what they have up their sleeves. I hated to say it, but I am just not convinced that Hillary is not just playing us for suckers. Yes, she wants power, but more than that she wants money and she already has that, now. Who is to say she is not being bought off with big bucks, to just play along with the game for awhile!?!

        OR
Since there won’t be a primary, this is a “hearing” on her abilities, where the judge and jury are Dems, who after a great show and airing of all the dirty laundry will proclaim Hill-a-beans innocent on all charges and fully qualified to be president.

Just something that needs to be monitored then. Glad it was not MS, I have 2 friends with it and it is not an easy thing to deal with. Also have ones with Parkinsons. You have to wonder if we had alot of chemicals in what we ate as kids to see a big increase of certain problems, doesn’t it? My best friend has Lupus as does my daughter in laws mother, just so much illness going on in my generation that I did not see in my parents generation.
Steve, Laura has to keep up on what is going on, but Migraines are not fun, I hear. I have had them, but with the pain blocked, just the aura that you see in the vision, guess I am the lucky one.
Laura, do certain scents set your migraines off? I know that is a problem with some people. My father in law used to swear by VICKS, he would rub it on his forhead and the migraine would go away. Never tried it, but I love VICKS for bruises and sinus problems.

Thank you, lou. I am glad it’s not MS, too. When I was waiting for the results of the lumbar puncture, I even told my family I would rather it be a stroke than MS. MS is a lifelong, progressive disease. Not easy at all.

It’s funny you mention what we ate as kids, because I have hypothyroidism, too. I was fed soy formula as a baby and studies have linked that with hypothyroidism. I think there is a link between the current ‘epidemic’ of ADD/ADHD, food allergies, general poor health of children today with chemicals given to ‘help’ our food supply grow, antibiotics given to animals, anti-bacterial everything, and preservatives & artificial sweeteners in our food.

I have the auras, but sounds and smells don’t trigger the migraines. Very bright lights will sometimes trigger one. I only get pain, no vomiting – so very glad for that. The day I went to the hospital, I had had a migraine for a couple of days, but it was odd. I kept getting the aura several times a day. That had never happened before.

I love Vicks. Funny story from my childhood. I was home sick and had melted some Vicks in a cup of hot water, so I could hold it under my nose – I didn’t want to put it directly on my skin. My cat jumped in my lap and spilled the Vicks all over herself. Neither of us were burned, but now I had a cat covered with Vicks. I didn’t know what to do, so I decided to give her a bath. It did not go well, to say the least. Did I mention I was a child at the time??? Lol. 🙂

Love the cat story!!! I have had alot of cats over the years, have 2 right now….they are NOT dogs, that is all I can say! You are killing them if you try and give them a pill, nail clipping is an issue, baths you can forget, haha! Had a great dane, she was a piece of cake compared to these two hellions,,,,BUT, I would not have them any other way. There is just something about a cat that you have to respect!

I am sure all the chemicals, additives and antibiotics have alot to do with all the medical problems. They will not tell us that, but I know it does.

They have to be affecting us, our bodies were not designed to digest these artificial additives. Artificial sweeteners are so bad! I keep nagging my parents to stop drinking diet pop! They actually make you hungry so you eat more. One of my supervisors has diabetes, I just cringe every time she drinks diet pop.

I’m more of a dog person, but I do like cats. I just don’t like that they can jump on the kitchen counters and I definitely don’t like the litter box. 🙂
