Open thread for Sunday, April 26th: ‘Victim of Changes’
Here is the open thread for Sunday, April 26th. Please feel free to post links to interesting articles and to discuss whatever issues arise during the course of the day. Nothing is off-topic here.

Well, we are going to kick it up a notch in the countdown of my all-time top favorite bands this week with the first of three heavy metal bands to make the grade. Coming in at number eight (or number three in the genre) is Judas Priest. In the late 80’s and early 90’s my musical tastes changed so while the metal bands start appearing this far down on the countdown the truth is they are interchangeable with the band which come in higher, with the exceptions of number one and number two. Apparently this portion of my list is fluid while number one and number two are set in stone.

The first video says it is not available to play in my county but I do remember this band. I was into them for a little while in my metal days and I had the tape with “Eat the Rich” on it, I don’t remember what it was called. His voice reminds me a little of ACDC.

Love the Dirty Dynamite, I think it is the heavy beat, but great to listen to. Will have to add that one to my usb flash drive for the Miata. That one is a driving song. When I go on a trip, I like to have my tunes, not be at the mercy of whatever station we are passing by or even the Sirius-xm my husband has to have.

On a side note, he is stuck in the 70’s, Journey, Foreigner, Styx, etc…and while they are pretty good, there is just so MUCH more to hear than just that, right?

I had the same problem with the first video as well Lou and SDL you are right, you can here a likeness to AC/DC but as you listen there is a difference.

I like some of the stuff by those bands Lou, but as you can tell by my list so far my tastes are a little different than your husband’s. 😉

My number 6 on the list of “Lou’s Favorites”, has to be Leonard Cohen. He is a singer, song writer and poet. He is Canadian and has a unique singing voice, but it grows on you. You cannot put an exact style to him, he has one all his own, but I hear alot of new singers that I can say sound alot like him, whatever that may be. Make up your own mind if you like him or not, but he is on my top 10 list and there he will stay. Enjoy the videos!

I had to sit and laugh while he was doing it….because as dramatic as Leonard is singing it, the skater got that drama across perfectly on ice:

This is fitting song that I think we made reference to on one of our blog postings, it sounds like the situation we are in with this Administration right now. It is a really downer song, but how TRUE!

Everybody Knows is my favorite Cohen song! I first heard it in the movie Pump up the Volume years ago but I never knew who did it until I stumbled upon it years later. This movie was about a high school kid who ran a pirate radio station and Christian Slater was the star. In the bottom left hand corner of my header image you have probably seen the words “Talk Hard” and this movie is where that came from.

If Alabama 3 did this song, it makes sense why I questioned that Leonard Cohen was given credit for it before, the sound is very similar . They, at least the lead singer sounds like Cohen. Have not heard of that group, but will try to listen to more of them, they sound good. Thanks, SDL.

Another good version of the song. There are so many songs, like SDL said, that are done by other singers, not the same, but equally as good. It is good to hear what others post that we miss.

Thanks for the heavy metal this morning, I was in my late 20’s early 30’s during that time, but always liked the heavy metal bands, I mean what was not to like about them? Not only were the instrumentals great, but the outfits…..where can you see that anymore? I remember when K-tel came out with the albums with alot of different heavy metal bands on them, that was top of the line, before you had to buy a whole album to get a song or two that you liked. I will not mention the 8 tracks that you had to listen to songs you did not like to get back to the ones you did. Sorry, just showing my age, but things are so much easier now. Now I sound like my parents,,,,I remember saying I would never be like them, but in the end, we all have a bit of them that come out in us, no matter what.

My next one will not shock you, well, maybe none of them will, but when I get down to #1, I have a bonus song, (just one) that has to be mentioned as the ultimate song that identifies me as a person. Haha, not really, but one of the first 45 rpm’s that I bought and it now resides in the #1 spot on the juke box. I told my son it had to be put there or no JUKE BOX for him, he complied!

When she talks about all the shoddy science on vaccines in the first video I could not help but think this is also what is happening with the research into climate change, there seems to be a pattern there.

Zip, when I became an EMT, I had to be tested for TB, but also had to have Hep 3 series shots. Was not thrilled about it, but did it. Now aren’t they wanting us “seniors” to have a booster of MMR? I had read somewhere that they figure we need it, along with the Shingles shot, Pnemonia shot and Flu shot. Now, ask me IF I have taken any of those they figure we need? What else are they going to come up with that we “need”? Then I have to wonder what exactly they are adding to those shots! My kids had limited shots needed, but not these days. I can see they have captive kids for those shots, no shots, you do not start school. Where before you could home school, not they are trying to stop that. I wonder how long your religious beliefs will stop having to have the shots given? I do not trust anything that our government tells us anymore, why would I trust them on what shots are good for my grandkids now?

Good for you Lou, for being an EMT! and passing along the info you learn to your family and others. I’m thinking this: That those ‘vaccines’ contain nano organisms that are connected to the ‘transhumanism’ agenda (frequencies – white sound) and are ‘control devices’. Consider those ‘truthers’ who were going to speak out and died because of a heart attack – these techie things can do that. Instead of ‘drugs’, the masses are ‘under the influence’ of something more insidious and sinister. It’s that Control & Power ‘sickness’ of those in high positions. We are spirit, soul and body, and the thief wants to rule each of them. Zip, the EMT knowledge is something that cannot be taken away from me and who knows at what point it might be needed. I once read that there was frog DNA in one of the flu vaccines a few years back. If I had not already been against the vaccines, that would have surely opened my eyes, but I guess it didn’t surprise me in the least. Who knows what is in any of the vaccines. I know, we are told it is safe, but this comes from the same people that tell us we can keep our doctors and insurance,,,hahaha! Moving on from that, chips can be implanted during one of those vaccines, right? Who is to say it has not already been done!!
After watching the video, I can say this guy has grown up where his wife/girlfriend did not. I think, for most people, having kids makes you grow up fast, others never do. I think it was normal he started questioning what is going on, but it go ahold of him and took him down with it. We know things are bad, we know that we have little we can do about it, but we still have to survive. I am glad he is at least getting a bit of his life back. This is what our Government does to us, I thought they were there to do OUR bidding, not to control us….perhaps I was wrong?

“Thanks” was for sharing some of these things Lou – is what I meant. Instead of frogs, this is going on: Vaccines prepared from cells derived from aborted human fetuses. None of these cultures are pure, and they transmit those impurities along to the host, as you know. But, that’s not the concern of those behind it. Those nano tech receptors can be in the chemsprays (chemtrails) too. Lands on the food we eat, the air we breath. But the vaccines encase the toxic metals until it clears the check points in our systems, then releases directly into our systems. If they’re pushing it, we know it’s not ‘for’ us!
Yes, it’s all been a BIG LIE what those in power have been ‘portraying’ as ‘caring and respectful’ of citizens’s welfare when the ‘ruling class’ has been running it all along and have their puppets (stand up leaders and gov. representatives) doing the stage show for the masses – keeping people in the dark (ignorance). I looked thru some of the comments and you can tell right off the Liza-tards (the venomous shills/trolls – they’re hellish in nature), but ‘that’ is a whole other subject! For now I think the ‘ruling UNclass’ are going for the depopulation and only keep around those who do their bidding. What do you think they’re doing with those ’embryos’ that were main stage years ago during Bush’s reign Lou? I think they’re connecting that w/ the eugenist and transhumanism – we haven’t heard anything about that for some time.
