Barack Obama calls for the Senate to pass the USA Freedom Act

May 29, 2015

NSAWith the Congress having failed to act on the PATRIOT Act there is only a few short hours left before some provisions are set to expire and now Barack Obama is pressing the Senate to pass the USA Freedom Act in order to assure we do not “go dark.” The USA Freedom Act is a piece of legislation which is supposed to amend the NSA data-mining program in order to protect the Constitutional rights of American citizens but somebody still has to explain to me how ANY bulk collection of data is not a violation of the Fourth Amendment unless a warrant is issued with probable cause naming those who records are going to be collected.

Here is what Barack Obama had to say:

“I don’t want us to be in a situation in which, for a certain period of time, those authorities go away, and suddenly we’re dark, and heaven forbid we’ve got a problem where we could’ve prevented a terrorist attack or could’ve apprehended someone who was engaged in dangerous activity but we didn’t do so simply because of inaction of the Senate,” the president said. [emphasis mine]

What is this “dangerous activity” the president is talking about? What else is the government using the PATRIOT Act for besides fighting terrorism? Barack Obama clearly stated this legislation needs to be passed in order to prevent terrorism OR other “dangerous activity.” This comment certainly makes it sound as if the PATRIOT Act is being used for more than fighting terrorism, does it not?

The FBI has already admitted the PATRIOT Act has not helped to crack any major potential terrorist attacks and while making this admission Inspector General Michael Horowitz also stated there has been an extension into other areas.

Increasingly, that meant scooping up information on those who weren’t targets of a terrorism investigation, Mr. Horowitz said. He said that while Section 215 authority allows the government to do that, the FBI needed more checks to make sure it was using the power properly.

“While the expanded scope of these requests can be important uses of Section 215 authority, we believe these expanded uses require continued significant oversight,” he concluded.

When Barack Obama ran for President in 2008 he claimed to be against domestic spying and warrantless wiretaps but it seems as if under his regime not only does he approve of the NSA data-mining program but he has used it for expanded purposes and we really do not know what those uses are, do we?

The only thing transparent about this anti-American president and his administration are his attempts to transform this government into a facist dictatorship. Sadly enough half the country is solidly behind him along with the print and electronic media, both parties in both Houses, academia from pre-k through university, Hollywood, corporations, Wall Street, unions,
the rich elite and the new pentagon brass. And this begs the rhetorical question, why are our soldiers loosing life and limb to preserve Obama’s agenda?

That’s because of the fluoride in the water and the other dumbing down projects that have been going on since the 30s, 40 & 50s! “GERMANS & RUSSIANS USED FLUORIDE TO MAKE PRISONERS ‘STUPID & DOCILE”

Don’t they put fluoride in rat poison? Seems that I read that somewhere. Well, we do not drink city water, we have a well and it is GOOD water. We also use Tom’s toothpaste that does not have fluoride in it. Do you remember back in the day that when kids went to the dentist, they brushed fluoride on the teeth? Since my kids are grown, I do not know if they still do this. Anyone know?

I do know that a local dentist prescribes it for rinse and to strength teeth. I don’t think he reads anything on it than what the ‘association’ sends him. Good that you have a well. Where I live they don’t allow private wells unless it’s been ‘grandfathered’ in. With that new EO fraud turd signed about water control, it seems that well will be ‘sanctioned’ too. Mercury fillings don’t help matters either!

I hope you test it now and then. They can add things into the ground water – not to say it would be fluoride but you know what I mean (something similar). Good to have clean well water!

Zip, we sit over the Mahomet Aquifer in Illinois. We had a chance to hook up to city water, but we passed. We do check our well ever so often and it is good water. Hard, but we have a water softener. The neighbors have alot of iron, but we do not. Strange. They also have the “Rotten egg” smell, we do not.

That’s ’cause you’re sweet Lou … 🙂 I’d like to have a well too. Strange here (NV) certain places the gov. makes it illegal to drill. We probably have natural gas down there too that would be good to pull up instead of paying for propane. Maybe that’s what you’re neighbors have … natural gas … : -/

Zip, depending on who I talked to in the neighborhood, some have no smell, some have nasty smelling water. Same thing for washing clothes. I figure if we have a good well, WHY would I pay the city double to have to hook up to them? They are raising the rates again for county residents, so probably a good thing we did not. We never run out, even when there has been little rain, we did watch when and how much we watered, but other than that, we never have any issues… Somehow “sweet” is not a term most people use with me, haha! Why would it be illegal for you to drill? You would think if there was natural gas, it would be a good thing, wouldn’t you? Guess it depends who you are talking to. We had propane out in the country at one house we lived in back about 28 years ago…between the electric and the propane in the winter it amounted to about $300 a month…that was HIGH. We also had city water routed out to the house and it was high and the meter ran eve when it was turned off at the house…they never would replace the meter…we had a well, but the farmer that moved into the old farm house in back of us started raising hogs, and our well was downhill from them…we figured we probably should not use it…OR the attic fan….did I mention we were only there a little over a year??? Nice house, not so nice situation.

It’s illegal to drill for water here even on your own property. Agenda 21 will stake claim to all resources at some point and that’s why all these commie/totalitarianism EO are being sign and have been for some time (generations). They’ll force you to comply – they don’t want anyone to live independently, rather a ward of the state. Much of this is going on already in the S.W.

Zip, the nasty smell from the well water is hydrogen sulfide gas If you draw a pitcher and let it sit out, it goes away, but still glad we do not have that problem.

There’s no compromising with that mind-set – Alinsky’s rule: don’t compromise. They only see their own goal and that’s it no matter what. Remember at article about the rich and powerful buying up water rights all over the world – they’re part of the Agenda.

I have reached the point where I don’t care what the issue is, who sponsored it or what it’s about. If Obama is in favor of any part of it, I assume that it’s something that’s bad for the U.S.

When I wanted to make a point, I used to write some nice pieces with lots of cross references and links. Then I realized that the only people who even bothered reading them were people who pretty much agreed with me.

So, I’ll save my rhetorical efforts for another time.

    So here’s the summary:

I wouldn’t give Obama the time of day let alone approval on a piece of legislation.

I agree Dr. Jeff; if Obama is for something at this point I have to believe it is bad and that it is not in the best interests of the country or of the American people.
I know how you feel; I sometimes wonder why I am still doing this because it feels as if I am preaching to the choir.

Yes they have admitted it and most of the Republicans who are supposedly Constitutionalists still support it, it tells me they are just spouting rhetoric about the Constitution for political purposes but most of them do not know a damn thing about it.

Steve – gonna harp, again, I just can’t help it. 😉

Our representatives support this because they are doing the bidding of political parties and non-constituent donors. They have been bought. They no longer represent the people who elect them, they only represent their party and their donors.

We will NEVER reclaim their loyalty and obedience until we reform the campaign finance laws. Until we refocus their dependence on us – their constituents, the only ones who can vote them into office – our representatives will continue to obey the highest bidder and flat-out, completely and blatantly, ignore us.

The People also need to reclaim our natural right to recall US representatives. Right now, they don’t depend on us for donations, they don’t depend on us to stay in office. Once they get into office the People are pretty much stuck with them, until they decide to retire. That is not the system our Founders established. The system they gave us has been perverted and we are the only ones who can correct it.

Sorry, it’s just everything goes back to this – nothing is going to change until we wrest control of our representatives and our government away from political parties and money.

[Two.] This from the same monotonously deaf President, who, said this famed quote, “9/11 is over, Osama bin Laden is dead, Al Qaeda is on the run, and GM is alive and well…” He also had the temerity to say, with one good eye and a straight face, “We are living in a post 9/11 world…” You don’t say Mr. President!

With all due and proper respect this President can’t even spell the words: National Security Agency [State] … Yet and still this President, as is the case with previous Presidents, is in charge of it. Everything this Administration wants is set to take more and more of our rights away. I am sorry to admit, it has not just been this Administration that has been taking our rights away. For some reason the left and right BOTH think we need to be controlled. How much difference is there in the 2 parties now? Have the American people become so dumbed down by now that they will allow this to happen? It sure seems that way.

Wouldn’t you think that somewhere in this great country that there would be people that had enough power to take control of this government, take it out from under Obamas control and FIX IT? These men in the video are basically laughing at our President and at us as a country. They think we are fools to let him continue governing. Maybe they are right.

I also sent the video to the members of my newsletter. It’s a good video, but the subtitles were actually a spoof.

Among other things they were discussing how the U.S. has betrayed its allies and is manipulating Mid East politics. It’s a debate on Egypt/Qatar relations and begins with the question of “Where is the Iranian Shah today?”
