Johnny Cash: ‘Ragged Old Flag’

July 5, 2015

As we bring to close this Independence Day weekend where we celebrate the birth of this country I thought there was no better way to bring the festivities to an end for another year by sharing the man, Johnny Cash, and a little number he calls “Ragged Old Flag.”

  Enjoy:

Good to have Johnny stating it rightly!
Just got this one in. I noticed no snake oil politicians or religions! Just core of good foundation and being thankful to God!

Cannot go wrong with Johnny and what a great song….too bad others feel they must burn the flag. All the ones we take down from our pole (we have pretty stiff winds out here on the prairie, so flags do not last long) are folded correctly and either taken in to the fire station to be disposed of correctly. Our Walmart has to be told once in awhile that the flag is getting tattered and they are usually pretty good at taking her down and replacing her with a fresh one.

I have several old flags which I need to bring to the Veteran’s club for proper disposal as well but I have not done it yet.

‘Ragged Old Flag’ was taken by the CULT of the BANKSTERS. Sorry, to tell you: “its gone and will never come back” (sun tsu, chinese general in “the art of war”)
