Brit Hume on Donald Trump: his ‘chickens will come home to roost’ when people ‘realize he hasn’t long been a Republican’

July 12, 2015

Donald Trump has been enjoying quite a bit of success since he announced his candidacy for the Presidency in 2016, and some polls actually show him tied with Jeb Bush. I have been trying to warn people that Donald Trump is not a true Republican but rather a Hegelian Dialectic change agent who most likely is working for the Democratic party. If you have not considered this possibility I would suggest you read what I wrote in this post. (There is also a link in that post to a previous post I wrote about this possibility.)

Earlier today on Fox News Sunday Brit Hume made some comments which I think back up my theory, although this is not what he was implying.

Here is what he had to say:

There’s a segment of the Republican electorate that’s been present for some time that’s angry with GOP leadership in congress and on the campaign trail than it is with Democrats at least in terms of what you hear these people saying. Donald Trump is captivated them for the moment. And by doing so, he’s basically eclipsed Sen. Ted Cruz, the previous horse. He will have a run. I think the chickens will come home to roost. People will realize he hasn’t long been a Republican. For many years he gave more money to Democrats, praised Hillary Clinton, said that Mitt Romney was too mean on immigration for taking positions weaker than the one that he’s taken now and over time his moment will fade. It will take a while. He’s got a lot of money. He could be a third-party threat.”

  And here is the video:

donald trumpNow, I happen to agree with what both Donald Trump and Jeb Bush have to say in the beginning of this video however I trust neither man so take it for what it is worth, but that is not the subject of this post.

I believe that Brit Hume is correct when he states that Donald Trump is enjoying this success because the conservative voters are sick and tired of the establishment Republicans. But people need to step back and ask themselves what Donald Trump’s motivation is.

Here is an article about Donald Trump’s past donations to the Democratic party and, as Brit Hume stated, he has praised Hillary Clinton in the past and has attacked Mitt Romney for his stance on immigration as being “too mean.” But now he is taking a stance to the right of the 2012 Republican nominee on immigration. So which is it? Where does he really stand and what is his motivation?

I think his motivation can be found in something that both Brit Hume and Karl Rove touched on in the video above. Donald Trump recently said he was open to a third party run if he does not win the Republican nomination and if he does that which party do you think it will hurt?

Donald Trump is not a stupid man, he knows the end result of a third party run will be two-fold: first; he understands that he has no chance of winning on a third party ticket and second; he also knows this will hurt the Republican party and will ensure the Democrats win the White House in 2016. So again I ask you to reconsider what Donald Trump’s motive is.

But would he have had to do some much unnecessary finical damage to his name and take so much flack for what he has said? He could have skipped the negative, and gone 3rd party like Nader and get the needed 2-3% that will split the vote. Gore has Nader to blame for the loss, not Florida. And Nader didn’t hurt is brand one bit.

Donald Trump is a rich delusional idiot.
    He hears a rumor
    Believes it’s true
Then try’s to make everyone else believe that it’s true too.

I don’t know enough about Trump yet to have an informed opinion. I do know that we certainly don’t need another Bush in the White House.
I’m not tracking with glenn20152015’s comment. Generalities just take up space leaving more questions and answering nothing IMHO.
    Have a great day Steve!

I agree with you; Bush must be stopped from winning the nomination at all costs. He has no shot at getting into the White House and we will see another repeat of 2008 and 2012 if he is the candidate. When will the establishment learn we are sick and tired of the elitists they keep throwing at us.

I like what Trump is saying, but then again look what we were told by the Senate and House members we voted back in or put in office!!! I will take a guarded optimistic view on Trump right now. I also like some of what Cruz is saying. I see the establishment journalists or tv hosts trying to take him down, so it bears watching, they seem to do that when they feel threatened, you know! Is he a threat? Probably so.

You can always tell who the MSM thinks is a threat by who they oppose the most and that is what is happening with Cruz.

Who in the Repub. party (Rino’s) has a right to speak despairingly about Donald, when they are more like the Dem’s themselves? At least he’s bringing out some things the Repub-tards should’ve been saying and acting on years ago. The corruption and corrosion is so bad in that party it’s disgraceful. Even if Trump is being used to stir the pot or whatever, the bigger problem is those in power positions – regardless their ‘so-called’ party affiliation. Today it doesn’t seem to matter because they all seem to be on the same team against real Americans. Be nice to shine the light of Truth on all of them and Trey handle their ‘resignations’.

Yep, they should not throw stones…..they are better? Ya, in a pigs eye! No, there is not much a difference in either party, they are both establishment and in my opinion, both the same. Sad it has come to this, but it has.

You are right Zip, the RINOs have no room to talk either and while I do not trust Trump at least he is saying what the RINOs don’t dare say!
