Did Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin use her position to grant favors to friends?

August 3, 2015

According to some reports Hillary Clinton’s most trusted aide, Huma Abedin, used the former Secretary of State’s personal email server and if this story is true we may now know why.

According to Charles Grassley an Inspector General report has found she might have used her position to benefit the Clinton Foundation and Teneo Strategies–both of whom she was working for.

  Here is more:

In a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry Thursday, Sen. Chuck Grassley, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said an inspector general probe suggested Huma Abedin leveraged her State Department job to benefit her two other employers at the time: the Clinton Foundation and a consulting firm called Teneo Strategies.

Teneo Strategies was founded by a longtime aide to Bill Clinton, Douglas Band, and boasted the former president as a paid board member when it first launched in 2011.

Abedin allegedly sent or received more than 7,000 emails on her government account that involved Band, the letter said.

As an example of the potential conflicts of interest at play, Grassley cited an email exchange in which Band pressed Abedin to encourage her State Department boss, Hillary Clinton, to facilitate a White House appointment for one of his clients.

Judith Rodin, the Teneo client in question, was then president of the Rockefeller Foundation, “which donated hundreds of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation, a fact which Mr. Band allegedly noted in his email to Ms. Abedin,” the letter said.

  And more still:

“[E]mail evidence allegedly suggests that Ms. Abedin and Ms. Mills shared a desire to find a way to ensure the Department paid for Ms. Abedin’s travel to and from New York,” the letter continued.

Grassley called into question a $33,000 payment Abedin received from the State Department for leave she hadn’t used.

The Iowa Republican highlighted multiple allegations received by the Judiciary Committee that indicated Abedin had indeed taken leave during her time as a government employee, casting doubt on whether Abedin should have received $33,000 in taxpayer money.

But wait, there is even more:

The State Department’s inspector general began looking into the issue of Abedin’s SGE designation in 2013, Grassley indicated in a letter to Abedin Thursday.

“The Committee has learned of allegations that, during your simultaneous employment by the Department of State, Teneo, and the Clinton Foundation, you were solicited for and delivered favors for preferred individuals,” Grassley wrote to Abedin.

Either this is yet another remarkable coincidence in an ever-growing string of coincidences surrounding the Clinton’s and their confidants or the apple does not fall far from the tree…

What a country where a Muslim can marry a Jew, rise to the heights of power and benignly get away with a plethora (I love that word) of illegal machinations. Meanwhile in her home country her nose and ears would be removed from her head if she showed ankle. God bless Amerika.

Will this ever end with Clinton? I spoke with someone a few weeks back that said they would vote for her. No wonder this country is in the shape it is. Unbelievable!

She’s as crimal and corrupt as her electorate is deaf, dumb and blind; emphasis on dumb.

But how do you ‘feel’ about her Peter :- / … Must have a insanity drug being unleashed to the public at large – ‘it takes’ mass hypnosis to ruin/destroy the intelligence and ethics of a village.

Cheryl, there are so many people out there who apparently don’t care what she has done and they justify it by saying they all do it. That is neither an excuse nor a reason to justify continuing the madness and until people step up and say enough is enough we are going to continue to fall in the tank.

They vote as they have ALWAYS voted, bottom line. It matters, little, if the playing field has changed and the consequences are vastly multiplied. Who cares, as long as you vote for a “D”! There are people that stupid and I imagine you know how I feel about stupid people, by now!

I know this may be a question you might have answered before, BUT, when you reblog this on your site, does it translate into a different language? Just curious, have not seen it before. If it does, that is cool!
Ok then, I went to your blog and saw it does have a box that pops up to translate. As I said, that is cool! Glad you like this blog well enough to want to spread the word. I think we do alright here with our rantings and comments. Thanks!.

I use Chrome for my browser and when I go to a page in another language it asks me if I want to translate the page.
