The New York Daily News calls on the State Department to label the NRA as a terrorist organization
In the wake of the horrific Umpqua campus mass shooting The New York Daily News has decided that it is time for the State Department to label the NRA has a terrorist organization. Here is some of what the rag had to say on this issue:
One terrorist group is responsible for more civilian deaths since December 2012 (the Sandy Hook massacre) than Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, Hamas and the Taliban. Yet it is the only nearly-state sponsored terrorist group that is not listed by the U.S. State Department as such.
It is the National Rifle Association and for their unending lobbying that’s kept a lid on gun control we now have 428 times more American deaths by gun than deaths by foreign terrorists.
The article continues:
Those murdered Americans killed by our own lunatic gun slingers include terrified children calling for their mothers, teachers begging for the lives of their students, students begging for not just their own lives but the lives of their classmates, moviegoers looking for escape, bystanders cheering for athletes, athletes trying to be the best they can be as the worst we ever could have imagined struck them down in cold blood.
Therefore the NRA should take its rightful place on the State Department list of terrorist organizations, because its influence is more of an immediate threat to the lives of our citizens than foreign terrorists.
Of course in order for an organization to be placed on the terror list it has to be a state-sponsored but The New York Daily News tries to get around this inconvenient little fact by using some of the most convoluted, and nearly unintelligible, logic I have ever read:
Although the NRA is not an officially state-sponsored organization it is the supporter of the state with its massive member and lobbyist donations to our elected officials.
This whole article is just silly and does not bear wasting our time on it other than to state this is a prime example of how the left uses intimidation to silence its foes and to criminalize opposition to its radical agenda.
However while we are on the subject of terrorism I find it interesting that the mainstream media is ignoring the fact that this shooting was apparently motivated in part due to the shooter’s disdain for Christianity or, if you prefer, religion in general.
It has been reported on several websites that the shooter singled out Christians for slaughter by asking the victims if they were Christian; if they answered yes he allegedly told them it was good because they were about to meet God before shooting them dead but if they answered no to the question he only shot to injure them.
It is also now being reported, in a foreign newspaper of course, that the shooter made all the Christians crawl to the middle of the room before he executed them.
But of course this does not help to forward the agenda so the mainstream media is ignoring these facts in order to focus on what does forward the agenda. The mainstream media is not interesting in providing the American people with all of the facts, only the facts they wish the American people to know.
It reminds me of a famous quote from the movie Citizen Cain, “the people will think…what I tell them to think.”
Malo periculosam libertatem quam quietum servitium
Daily News, at one time, was a real good newspaper. Then it went pinko. Then it started bouncing back to normal. Now, they hired that guy from Black Lives Matter and this NRA issue, therefore, the NY Daily News has once again tanked and gone PINKO. Growing up in NYC, the paper was affectionately called, “the Daily Noose”, in Brooklyn dialect (of Germanic farmers/Dutch) and because the paper was always seeking real slime to hang in print. It was a grand newspaper, once. I remember the two-cent Night Owl edition. Yes, two pennies, or, the four-star Final Edition for a nickel. My father gave me twenty-nine cents, and I walked to the corner for a two-cent Night Owl Edition of the NY Daily News, and a pack of Lucky Strike cigarettes for him. People left keys in the car ignition so they wouldn’t lose them or forget them. Car windows rolled down all night long in good weather, and street kids on duty to roll up all windows of cars if it started to rain. House doors unlocked until 1965, and key tethered to the door knob with string. At times, I would go to the corner with a fistfull of pennies for the Daily News, and be rewarded with a one-penny Bazooka bubble gum. In fact, at times, I had to make deliveries to one local barroom, and when I got older, I would have a soda, and shoot pool. Few knew, that I was a helper at F&G Billiards (George Balabushka’s) on 5th Avenue and 50th Street. (Got 14.1?)

Those were the days! I also remember going into the store to buy cigarettes for my parents while they waited in the car. Damn how times have changed, some call it progress but in many cases I have to disagree. It seemed so much simpler back then…

Plus, those cigs weren’t full of all the ‘extra’ 597 ingredients (carcinogens) as they are today. And the social fiber and foundation was more Biblically based; which promotes freedom and liberties, while restraining undesirable and unhealthy conduct. When the light of truth is taken out of a culture and it dims, the darkness increases (the lie prospers) – spiritually and in one’s soul, lived out bodily (the reason keys can not longer be left in the ignition and car and house doors left unlocked). When ‘Under God’ was placed on paper currency (’56), it didn’t signify the Creator God, it’s the ‘god of this world system’. Consider, would a Holy God want His Name on money?

That is a good point about the additives, I was in the store of the weekend and I saw a poster for American Spirit cigarettes and they claim to have no addictive additives. I don’t know if that is true or just a gimmick.
It is funny you posted that video: I saw They Live years ago and have recently been thinking that I need to watch it again because I have forgotten most of it.

Isn’t it nice to be able to think back to better times? I was talking to my best friend since we were 12, her husband is at MD Anderson Cancer Hosp. in Houston right now, she needed to talk, we were bringing up “old times”, we have a history that only family members have, but we are just as much family, I guess. We started describing our houses we used to live in down in East St. Louis and the streets we ran and riding bikes and being outside til Pop whistled to come in at night….I am sure alot of you “guys” had the same type of upbringing….we did not worry about who was going to be kidnapped or what school was going to get a bomb scare. We had the 60’s and the riots that went on while we were in Jr. High that we had to contend with, but we never thought there would be illegals and other religions that wanted us dead. Now kids will have to worry about alot, I wish they could have normal childhoods, but I have a feeling that is a thing of the past! This is a whole new world and not one I am familiar with or care to have to deal with, but deal with it, we must!

I sometimes wonder if times were better back then or if we were just young and naive and I always come back to the simple fact that times were different and more innocent back then, even if we were as well.

My stepfather smoked Luckies which I would get for him for 26 cents at either Joe’s pool hall on 27th St or Carmines pool hall on 24th St, in Union City, NJ. Some nights, after she scraped up 25 cents my mom would send me or my brother or both of us to the bread bakery in Enzo’s garage for half a dozen hard rolls. Who would bother a 10 year old kid at 8-9 pm. The liberals destroyed our world of the 50’s and 60’s. The neighborhood stoops have abandoned to the junkies. My brother and I as young as 8 & 10 years old took the bus from 32nd St in Union City to the Port Authority Bldg, in New York City the. took the shuttle subway train to Grand Central then the subway to the 86th St station in Brooklyn then made our way to Bay 26th St in Bensonhurst on a Friday night after school and on Saturday my wino barber grandpa would cut our hair. Then we would walk the several miles to Coney Island, walk back to nana and grampa’s in the evening. Who would bother a couple of kids? What a difference 50 plus years of unfettered progressivism has wrought upon our culture, our society.

When my Dad smoked he smoked unfiltered Camels although I forget the price.
I remember walking with my grandmother through the streets of Haverhill to go to the store for no reason other than we wanted candy or something. I wouldn’t dare to walk these same streets today, it is sad how times have changed.

The kids cannot do that now, Peter, yes things have changed. Now the kids are supposed to be bubble wrapped and while I do not agree with that, yes, we have to watch closer now.

I just saw this over at Weasel Zippers this morning…this is the Publisher of the Roseburg Beacon being interviewed….I was half listening until I heard them mention the Sheriff having had his say after the “Sandyhook Incident” about supporting the 2nd amendment AND the Constitution. They do not want Obama there. I am wondering if this is pay back for what the Sheriff said! Stranger things have happened and for it to happen in some small place like that is just not a coincidence in my estimation. See what you think:

They’re not going to go thru all the PSYOP masquerade Lou without milking it for all they can and get more people to be anti-guns morons – in a world where those in leadership are the enemy. Like taking candy from a baby. “Believe … just believe” isn’t that the brainwashing MO today. Believe and it’ll come true rainbow unicorns.

Yep, we Americans as a whole are trusting people…then there are some of us that do not believe anything anymore without proof. Sometimes I have to think we would be so much better off if we did not know the truth. Then reality smacks me in the face and I yell “hell no”!

We sure do know and he also predicted exactly how it would happen. Thanks for the link, that article is straight out of his book “Behold a Pale Horse” and “The Secret Government” is a chapter in the book. The book is still out there and you might want to check it out because he warned us of many of the things we are seeing happening right now.

I heard on Fox this morning that she is planning Executive Action regarding gun control. Yet to find the particulars, but I think we have the drift. Anything goes now. Stock up and lock and load.

What bothers me the most about this is when she was talking about “assault weapons” and she said she was going to get those guns out of people’s hands. That sounds like confiscation to me and we all know that while it might begin with just these weapons over time it will not end there.

Of course, get us used to “just a little” and then it will become natural to take the guns. In a perfect world that might work, but since we know it is not, then we have to prepare accordingly and my plans do not include having guns taken away. PLUS, the woman doesn’t know what the hell she is talking about when she refers to guns, so why should we believe her? In reality, isn’t ANY gun an “assault weapon” if it is used against another person? Does that mean she will take handguns from the thugs? Maybe or maybe not! We sure have alot of those assault weapons floating around, don’t we?

I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power, than by violent and sudden usurpations- James Madison
Those words were quite prophetic and this is how they get it done; a little at a time so the people don’t notice what is happening until it is too late.

If the media and politicians are so concerned about people being killed, they’d be concentrating on abortion! Instead they use this ‘staged events’ to ‘push forward’ their criminal Agenda. This ‘particular ploy’ is to rattle the cages of the Christians to jump on the bandwagon to support ‘gun control’. They are blind to the fact that it’s not what it appears to be. Just like the ‘dumbing down’ of America, there’s a ‘Christian-dum’ that’s been going on for years too – transforming them into the god of this world’s image. The ‘Emergent church’ which is not God Approved, or the ‘Prosperity movement’ another corrupt misuse of God’s Word. They’ve been brainwashed as well – taught to consider themselves as sheep – and we know what happens to them; to the slaughter house they go! The Apostle Paul in this Age of Grace NEVER refers to believers as sheep – He notes that some are carnal and babes, not knowing God’s Word to mature them – grow them up to be bold, renewed in their thinking, saints of the MOST High God! Big difference!
Also, we don’t know if this story is even true! A fabrication? How do we ‘know’ that’s what REALLY happened? When we have a Hollywood Administration of liars – why even listen to the stories (tangled webs) they spin!! Ask the ‘paid crisis actors’?

Coincidence? #NewYorkDailyNews is calling for designation of the #NRA as a #terrorist group even as #LorettaLynch creates her #UN #GlobalPolice initiative to fight ‘#extremism’ in the United States. It looks as if Eric Holder’s effort toward federalized control of local law enforcement with his 16 city model program wasn’t enough for this administration….now, with Lynch, we’re making the leap from federalizing to globalizing our state and local policing. Under what rule of law do we authorize this kind of deal between the DOJ and the UN? Are different Cabinet departments now allowed to make international treaties without input, advice or consent from the people’s representatives?

Seems like the Admin. needs a BIG catastrophe that will give an excuse for the UN to enter – a global community effort.
