Donald Trump surges to 42% in latest national poll
Just when is was beginning to look like Donald Trump’s momentum was slowing and Ben Carson’s momentum was rising a new national poll has been released which shows Donald Trump’s popularity growing to an all-time high among likely Republican voters.

After a week in which he hosted Saturday Night Live and stood center-stage at a Republican debate, Donald Trump is surging among Republicans likely to cast votes in the party’s presidential primary.
According to the five-day rolling Reuters/Ipsos presidential poll, Trump has leapt some 17 percentage points among likely Republican voters since Nov. 6, when he was essentially tied with Ben Carson at about 25 percent. Trump now captures 42 percent of those voters while Carson has fallen off slightly.
The poll also shows that despite the media’s attempt to tell us that the Republican establishment’s Plan B candidate, Marco Rubio, is beginning to make waves that he is stagnating at 10% support.
Take this poll for what it is worth because it is a national poll and until the National Popular Vote movement achieves it goal of neutering the Electoral College we do not have a national election, but I do think national polls can be used to gauge a person’s popularity and this bodes well for Donald Trump as the Iowa caucuses draw close.

Thanks for the link. I have been thinking that the attack in Paris might boost Trump because of his stance on illegal immigration and with refugees being behind the attack this could now be the number one issue in the election.

Meanwhile back at the ranch they’re hiding The Incredible Bulk until this blows over when the 1:00 games air tomorrow. By then she will have her blather down pat and assure the American assholes- I mean people- she will strengthen our military and fight terrorism wherever it rears its ugly head.

There is talk about the debate changing focus to talk about this. This is a subject the Dems would rather avoid and Sanders is already bitching about it.
