Donald Trump wins the Mississippi and Michigan primaries

March 8, 2016

It is shaping up to be a good night for Donald Trump: he is already projected to win both the Mississippi and Michigan primaries. What makes this news even better for the billionaire businessman is that as I write this John Kasich is edging out Ted Cruz for second place in Michigan. John Kasich will use his better than expected shoeing in Michigan as justification for staying in the race despite his poor showing in Mississippi and this will help split the anti-Trump vote.

Meanwhile Marco Rubio is in fourth place in both states and it is pretty clear the primary voters want nothing to do with the Senator from Florida. If this holds up there is no way he can any longer spin these losses as victories, at some point he is going to have to do the right thing and drop out. If he is smart he will do it before he gets embarrassed in his home state.

We still have two more contests which will end later tonight so at this point we do not know how complete Donald Trump’s victory will be but if he wins all four contests and then defeats Marco Rubio in Florida this race will be just about over.

This is from a story on Zerohedge about a closed meeting to stop Trump. “The main topic at the closed-to-the-press confab? How to stop Republican front-runner Donald Trump,” Huff Post writes. Here’s a list of attendees:

    Apple CEO Tim Cook,
    Google co-founder Larry Page,
Napster creator and Facebook investor Sean Parker,
Tesla Motors and SpaceX honcho Elon Musk
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.),
    political guru Karl Rove,
    House Speaker Paul Ryan,
GOP Sens. Tom Cotton (Ark.), Cory Gardner (Colo.), Tim Scott (S.C.), Rob Portman (Ohio) and Ben Sasse (Neb.),
Energy and Commerce Committee Chair Fred Upton (Mich.),
    Rep. Kevin Brady (Texas)
    Kevin McCarthy (Calif.),
    Cathy McMorris Rodgers (Wash.),
Budget Committee Chairman Tom Price (R-Ga.),
Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (Texas)
    Diane Black (Tenn.)

What a fine kettle of fish.

Only the Republicans would eat their own. Guess the establishment really, really hates Trump! We might want to burn this list into memory and try and get rid of the trash when the time comes. Apparently they are short sighted, IF Trump is the one that can take Clinton out, guess they are comfortable with the fact she will be the President if they go against the will of the people. See, what I do not understand is WHY they feel once they get the win and go to Congress they are no longer beholding to the people that put them there! Someone please explain this concept to me!

It is all about power, in the end they are establishment first and they will protect the establishment from an outsider. If that means Hillary wins they still feel as if they won.

A pox on all their lemming-weasel houses.
Observation: just surfed to MSLSD for a bit of self flaggulation where they praised Detroit’s mayor for calling for Syrian refugees to repopulate the city…assholes all. How about moving in Unemployed- losing/lost their homes Americans to repopulate the city that run of the mill corrupt black democrat mayors destroyed over the pat 50 years.

But, Peter, all they need to do is remove the REPUBLICAN Governor and that will take care of all of it. There is no need to bring up the past 50 years of DEMOCRAT control in the city….that is just wrong! Well, it is wrong depending on who you are talking to! See how easy it is to blame the Republicans for Democrat wrong doing? I wonder what the people that live there think? Surely they don’t think it is the Governor that caused the problems? So, guess they will repopulate the city with Muslims, that should do the trick!

Was listening to Savage while driving yesterday and found it investing that this year the mud slinging and hatred has increased. The evolution of the nature of mankind, we were led to believe we have a ‘good nature’ and that we are evolving into this higher, better spiritual beings … BUT, alas:

You have to love Dr. Savage! I listen to him on podcast each day from the night before. I have given up on Mark Levin for awhile, have not liked hearing what he has to say. Limbaugh and Hannity are another 2 I will not listen to. I do catch Joe Walsh ( don’t say it Steve) from the night before as well. I love being able to hear them during the day.

Limbaugh is either an establishment hack or a Democrat tool in my opinion! Hannity is establishment as well.

Yep, some of the other’s are too ‘bothersome’ at times, waste of ear time. Savage mentioned to book Brave New World that’s why the 2nd vid caught my attention. Main point is the sickness behind much of what goes on.

Right on Lou. Most afternoons here in the Big Appleburbs, aka NJ, I listen from 3-5pm. His show is an education in itself. As for Levin he is approaching being unlistenable, for me anyway. His drinking of the Cruz Kool-aid had put him over the top. But that’s just my opinion. As for Gamnity he should be teaching middle school Industrial Arts class- is there such a thing anymore- probably not.

I just had to back off of Levin, might listen to him again, but might not. Probably the top two I listen to are Dr. Savage and Joe Walsh up in Chicago. He pretty much tells it like it is, just like Savage. The others, I think hold back and don’t want to rock the boat…it is way past that and I believe they need to be solid on their beliefs. We are in a fight for this Country and I just do not think any of us should think we have the luxury to not have a solid opinion of what is taking place in the name of OBAMA. I cannot believe that anyone should want the Country to be what Obama or Clinton or Sanders is trying to push on us. Where is the freedom in what they say? Where are the rights that are disappearing? Are half the people that live here brainwashed?

Honestly, I don’t listen to any of them anymore. Like Lou said none of them want to rack the boat too much because they know where their bread is buttered. Out of all of them I think Levin is the most concerned about the Constitution, the others just pay it lip service. I have never listened to Savage though so I don’t have an opinion on him.
