Department of Justice employees have donated $75,000 to Hillary Clinton

May 11, 2016

Hillary ClintonLiberals like to claim that the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server to conduct ALL of her State Department business is nothing but a witch hunt and in order to justify this claim they point to the fact that no smoking gun has come out despite a two year investigation.

Of course in order to make this claim the left has to forget two little inconvenient truths: first; the State Department has been stonewalling the investigation and second; the FBI, not just Republican congressmen, is conducting a criminal investigation.

And now, according to this story, there is a third possible hindrance to charges possibly being brought against the former Secretary of State and that is the fact that Injustice Department employees have donated almost $75,000 to the Clinton campaign.

  Here is more:

Hillary Clinton has received nearly $75,000 in political contributions from employees at the Department of Justice, the agency that would decide whether or not to act if the FBI recommended charges against Clinton or her aides following its investigation into her private email server.

Justice Department employees have given Clinton far more money than her rivals, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) and Donald Trump, according to a review of federal campaign contributions for the 2016 presidential cycle.

Clinton collected $73,437 from individuals who listed the “Department of Justice” as their employer. Twelve of the 228 contributions were for $2,700, the maximum individual amount allowed by law.

The fundraising haul marks a dramatic increase over Clinton’s unsuccessful presidential run in 2008, when she took in 23 contributions totaling $15,930 from employees at the agency, according to data compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics.

Trump, by comparison, has received little help from Justice Department employees, recording just two contributions for a total of $381.

Sanders has taken 51 donations totaling $8,900 from Justice Department employees.

The Department of Injustice has a vested interest in making sure no charges are ever brought against the former Secretary of State but of course that would never cloud their decision making process, right? Move along, nothing to see here…

FBI Comey gave a presser of course which wasn’t covered live but behind closed doors. It was made clear apparently by him that it was not a “security review” because he didn’t even know what that is and they don’t do them. So Hillary will have to clear up that point some time.

I saw a story on this as well and it made me wonder if he was alluding to the fact this is a criminal investigation.

Coney doesn’t have much credibility. He said there are 100’s of agents working on the Hillary investigation.. According to former agents there are about 10 investigators. I don’t know if the career agents have any deep loyalty to him.

That’s possibly CJ, perhaps they are not fully cooperating with him behind the scenes.

The story I read said that he said it was an investigation, not an inquiry. The story also asserted that he declined to characterize the investigation as criminal or civil.

I guess if the ‘kiddy’ came around to ‘contribute’, in hopes to cover my tail – being connected & aiding/abetting the guilty party – I’d toss in a bunch too! Better to pay the Piper now, than risk paying much more later and be without a job … or …?

As always Hillary is the fountain of misinformation. Any security review would be done by the DOS OIG.

Here is their role: The Office of the Inspector General DOS “The Office of Inspector General is independent and aims to promote effective management, accountability, and positive change in the Department, the BBG and the foreign affairs community. Through our audits, inspections, evaluations, and investigations, we detect and prevent waste, fraud, and abuse. We identify vulnerabilities, recommend constructive solutions, and offer assistance to improve Department and BBG operations.”

Unfortunately BO never appointed one during Hillary’s tenure as Sec.

“The State Department had no permanent inspector general—the lead watchdog charged with uncovering misconduct and waste—during Hillary Clinton’s entire tenure as secretary, leaving in place an acting inspector who had close ties to State Department leadership.” WSJ

      I didn’t know that, isn’t that a strange coincidence? 😉

It gets even weirder in that BO appointed Comey – a Republican. He was Ashcroft’s second in command at the DOJ. Why would he do this? Seems like they knew swgthtf and they needed cover or a fall guy.

Huh — out of 112,000 employees at DoJ, they only managed to raise $75k?

I don’t think there’s a valid comparison with Mr. Trump, since for a long time he was bragging about being self-funded. That discourages contributions. It’d be interesting to see how much (if any) was contributed by DoJ employees to the other 16 GOP candidates.

Take good care, and may God bless us all!

A Daily Caller News Foundation investigation reveals that Bill and Hillary Clinton received at least $100 million from autocratic Persian Gulf states and their leaders, potentially undermining Democratic presidential candidate Hillary’s claim she can carry out independent Middle East policies.
