Racist Democrats target Hillary Clinton’s potential VP pick–Julián Castro

May 16, 2016

The mainstream media is trying to downplay it but there is a civil war brewing within the Democratic party. We saw an example of this was over the weekend when Hillary Clinton got 60 potential Bernie Sanders delegates disqualified, which led to chaos at the Nevada Democratic convention and ultimately to the  removal of the Senator from Vermont’s supporters after the threat of arrest.

And now progressive groups are targeting the man whom many feel is Hillary Clinton’s top pick as a running mate–Julián Castro.

  Here is more:

With Bernie Sanders’ durability exciting progressives at their potential to shape the Democratic race, a coalition of groups — many of them backers of the Vermont senator — are launching a preemptive strike against Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro, aimed at disqualifying him from consideration to be Hillary Clinton’s running mate.

Tuesday morning, the group emailed petitions to several million people attacking Castro on the relatively obscure issue of his handling of mortgage sales and launching a website with an unsubtle address: DontSellOurHomesToWallStreet.org.

They’re just as open with their political aims: to publicly discredit Castro as a progressive, latching onto the mortgage issue to seed enough suspicion to keep him off Clinton’s shortlist.

“It’s a situation where the Clinton campaign wants Castro to be a major asset to her chances of winning the White House, and unless he changes his position related to foreclosures and loans, he’ll be a toxic asset to the Clinton campaign,” said Matt Nelson, the managing director for Presente.org, the nation’s largest Latino organizing group that focuses on social justice.

“All year, we’ve seen the candidates tripping over themselves to show how tough they’ll be on Wall Street,” said Kurt Walters, the campaign manager for Root Strikers, a 501(c4) group of Demand Progress and its 2 million affiliated activists, who is planning to deliver the petitions to Castro’s office when they’re ready. “Then to turn around and take a step backwards on that exact question, and put someone who has been doing the exact opposite — I think it would be tough for a lot of people who care about Wall Street accountability to get excited about that pick.”

But what is their real motive here? I think there might be more to their opposition than they are willing to admit. To me it seems that these people are upset that their preferred old white dude of choice is losing to a woman and now they are opposed to a man with a funny sounding name. It sounds to me as if these people are nothing but misogynistic racists…

The Clinton’s are to be reckoned with. The special snowflakes are in for a educational moment.

We can only hope this education will keep them from the polls in November!

They should have been “reckoned” with years ago, but no none had the balls to stand up to them. When I see Bill on tv, he is just a shell of the man he was, I cannot decide if he is using this to try and make people think he is harmless or what. Hillary is just darn right EVIL and I do not think she will ever change. Who do you think is going to take them on if Trump is out of the way? I cannot think of anyone that would be able to stay in their game that is in the running.

Bill is getting old in front of our faces and I think you are right about him being a shell of the man he once was. I think he really is starting to slip, I don’t think this is a ploy but I could be wrong. I am not a supporter of Trump but he might be the only one who will not back down once the MSM starts attacking him.

That is my feelings on it ,too….he will go on the attack if he needs to, unlike McCain or Romney….they were weak nominees, Trump is NOT!

Bill can go on the attack but he isn’t as smooth as he was so I don’t think it works the way it used to.

The “he” I was speaking of is Trump, Steve. think you misunderstood me, maybe? I agree that Clinton would probably go on the attack, but as I said before he is a shell of the man he once was, so how much weight that would hold, who knows. I just do not see him as an ASSET to Hillary at this point. And, he says some stuff that is inappropriate or off the wall, so he is an iffy asset, at best.

My bad. 🙂 I agree with you on Bill, I don’t think he is the asset he once was but of course the older Dems still like him but he does not hold sway with the younger voters.

I heard that she had 50% of the vote before even campaigning. I wonder how much Bernie’s being paid for his show on stage? He has the majority but he knows that means nothing if the ‘evils that be’ want Hilly in.

I keep changing my mind on this; sometimes I feel he is controlled opposition and other time I feel is real opposition. But every time I think he is real opposition he fails to go after Clinton hard. He probably knows he cannot win but I don’t think his supporters realize it.

To me Lou, it’s as if he’s going for it. Who knows, it’s all so contrived, smoke and mirrors. What it started out to be may’ve changed. Having a female prez has been in the social conditioning for years. It’s difficult to predict the movement of a liar/conniver! (those who run the system). Trump could win – just not be selected to hold the position by the world leading elite.

I did not comment on what you answered, I think it was Steve, Zip! However, now that you “ask”, I am not sure if he was in the game for the right reason to start….I do not think we will ever find out for sure. I have switched back and forth like the rest of you as to IF he was a plant of some sort….now my opinion (not worth much) is that he wants it and he knows at some point he is going to have to take his best shot at Hillary and knock her out hard….not sure if he has that in him or not….guess we will see. As for Trump against Hillary, I think they are of the same mindset and neither is willing to back down….the difference is I believe that Trump cares about the Country and she never has and never will. Sanders, is an old hippy and he is just way too much of a Socialist, but he will get the popular vote,,,,BUT, Hillary will not allow that and will buy off the Delegates and Super-Delegates if she can….or she has someone looking into all of them and will blackmail them. I bet she has a whole office of super-sleuths on retainer, haha! If it wasn’t so sad, it would be funny how she takes people out.
IF Trump wins and is not given the nomination because “the powers that be” have a different person in mind, I believe that all hell will break out, the American people are at the end of their fuse and this might just light that fuse. We know our “chances” are over of pushing it one more election…this is IT!

Sometimes I think he started out as controlled opposition but then he started getting support and began to realize he could be the nominee (if it was not rigged against him that is) and decided to run as a real candidate. I kind of feel the same way about Trump at times. Sometimes I feel as if he just began running for President for publicity but then he took off and realized he had a real shot at it.
