Donald Trump takes Executive Actions on immigration

January 25, 2017

The problem with working days and blogging at night is that by the time I have a chance to write just about everything has already been said about the news of the day and today is another example. By now you have heard that Donald Trump has taken Executive Action on immigration, fulfilling more campaign promises.

  Here is more:

President Donald Trump on Wednesday ordered construction of a U.S.-Mexican border wall and punishment for cities shielding illegal immigrants while mulling restoring a CIA secret detention program as he launched broad but divisive plans to reshape U.S. immigration and national security policy.

“We are in the middle of a crisis on our southern border: The unprecedented surge of illegal migrants from Central America is harming both Mexico and the United States,” Trump said, adding: “A nation without borders is not a nation.”

We have heard talk about building a wall before and Congress actually already allotted money to do so before the project was canned by Barack Obama, but this time it looks as though it is really going to happen because we have a President willing to do it and because the money has already been allotted it does not look like it can be stopped.

As far as the sanctuary cities go it looks like Donald Trump is going to try to withhold Federal monies from cities which refuse to adhere to Federal law. I am not sure how that is going to work because I am not sure how the money is dispersed. Does it go to the states which in turn decide which communities get it? If so this might be hard to enforce but this is what happens when you accept Federal bribes funding, you are beholden to the Federal government.

While signing these orders Donald Trump said the focus would be on enforcing existing laws and not on creating new laws. What a novel concept after Barack Obama called for ignoring Federal laws on immigration! Maybe we can try the same approach when it comes to the gun laws…

The sooner we do something the better. Mexico is rapidly approaching a failed state status. If that should happen the stampede for the border will overwhelm the BP. The Texas NG is already on the border per Gov. Abbot. . However, NM and CA are two left leaning states who knows what they would do.

Yeah, we don’t have to worry about Texas but the other two states might try to do something to stop this.

Gee, if we increased the penalties to cover the cost of enforcement maybe that would help.

    (b) Improper time or place; civil penalties

Any alien who is apprehended while entering (or attempting to enter) the United States at a time or place other than as designated by immigration officers shall be subject to a civil penalty of—

    (1) at least $50 and not more than $250 for each such entry (or attempted entry); or

    (2) twice the amount specified in paragraph (1) in the case of an alien who has been previously subject to a civil penalty under this subsection.

Civil penalties under this subsection are in addition to, and not in lieu of, any criminal or other civil penalties that may be imposed.

You as a U.S. Citizen face much higher penalties.

It cost about the same for a pizza and an order of mussels.

Prez Nieto must be touching cotton now that the wall may become a reality. With a backup of the poor unable to leave Mexico and the drug cartels semi-cut off from their biggest customer all hell may break loose at the presidential palace making Pablo Escobar’s assault on Colombia look like child’s play. Of course the peasants could be shipped via boat or plane to cross our northern border. Canada is more liberal than we can imagine. It is currently operating more like a sanctuary city for anyone from anywhere than as a Soverign country. Go Donald build that wall. We of sound mind are 1000% behind you!

OT you might want to air this one Steve. People are thinking down on Trump for bringing up ‘voter fraud’, like he’s using it as an excuse, but watch this. Posted Oct 27, ’16 “True the Vote” founder Catherine Engelbrecht said this after an interview w/ Fox about voting fraud:

Thanks for sharing this Zip. That was very interesting and there is no doubt there is fraud and at least we now have a President that at least wants to look into it.

I would know where to even start on the immigration….I imagine that Trump has a plan. It will not be what the left wants, we know it never will be. He has to hit it hard and make believers out of the first few and then I think we will see alot of people leaving the country. Cutting off the welfare that was freely given will be a great start along with charging for the charge to be added to money being sent out of the country. Also giving the Border Patrol some pride back in their job…they have been neutered to the extent they had no authority and were walked all over. Now, I bet they will get the job done that they have wanted to do, but were kept from doing.
