Donald Trump signs Executive Order designed to cut regulations
Donald Trump seems to be on a mission to implement all of his campaign promises as soon as possible and he has been doing it through Executive Order rather than wait on the Congress. Regular readers of America’s Watchtower know that I am not a fan of governing through Executive Order but I guess this is the country we live in now.
I do not like it but to date it does not seem as if Donald Trump has exceeded his authority. The left would say his so-called “Muslim ban” is an unconstitutional power grab because Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution grants the Congress the right to create naturalization laws, however the courts have always given the President leeway on immigration and this has nothing to do with naturalization. But I digress…
Today Donald Trump signed yet another Executive Order, this time trying to make good on his campaign promise of cutting back Federal regulations.Under this order an agency will have to eliminate two regulations for every regulation they wish to add. Here is more:
President Donald Trump signed an executive order Monday aiming to kickstart campaign pledges to slash regulations.
The measure will expand regulatory review with the goal of revoking two regulations for every new one put forward, according to a senior administration official. Under the order, federal agencies will propose rules they want to drop and the White House will review them.
With the order, Trump followed through on repeated campaign promises to cut rules that he said hold back the economy. In meetings with business leaders since his election, Trump has touted his efforts to reduce regulations and cut corporate taxes.
While signing the order surrounded by small business owners, Trump called it “the largest ever cut by far in terms of regulation.” It sets a budget each year for what new regulations would cost the economy, companies and employers.
“There will be regulation, there will be control, but it will be a normalized control,” Trump told reporters at the White House.
As you all probably know I was not a supporter of Donald Trump because I did not believe has was the person he was claiming to be during the election, however so far he is holding true to his campaign promises and that is actually kind of refreshing. I do have to admit, however, that it is time for him to back off the Executive Orders and let the Congress do its job.

If you want the job done right … get rid of the lefties. There’s so many (in high positions of power and authority) who want to keep the “con and gravy train” going. I heard Spicer say today that this is basically the same thing OHB did concerning Iranians (they added one word, “with” using the same order he used). Meaning ‘doing the right thing’ bring opposition. Maybe you’ll be pleasantly surprised Steve that Pres. Trump is doing what he said he was going to do. Actually, Bari did too, he ‘changed’ America, increase utility prices, brought in a ‘new way of thinking’ and conducting biz, etc. and see how well he did doing ALL THAT! Even up to the last minute he was signing away … away more freedoms and such. BUT Trump came out of the gate running and had his duck in a roll. Waiting for Congress or whoever else to man and women up … can he wait that long? I think he’s productive in a way that scares people. We’re use to a sap who didn’t get to work until 9am then had to stop at 5pm to have dinner w/ the ‘fake family’. Fake-ness takes a while to shed off when being immersed in it for so many years! Then there’s people like Schumer, who wants open boarders and does the swamp (cesspool) talk. I like how Trump called him out on it too. Didn’t we have enough w/ boo hoo Boehner!
Cutting regulations will give the small biz owner a chance to succeed … that’ll be a nice change!
Oh key word of the day: Vetting. If more ‘vetting’ had gone on with Bari’s birth certificate would he have been allowed to even run? hmmm. Dem*s don’t like vetting they prefer ‘venting.’

Yeah, he has been very productive so far and I don’t think he has done anything wrong with the EOs yet. Obama was creating new law with them and Trump hasn’t done that so far but I just don’t want him to get too power hungry with these.

I don’t think this is what Chubby meant when he did song but it came to mind!

It was such theater that nobody even bought it and it was funny to see Trump call him out on it.

As I have often stated, Trump wasn’t my 1st, 2nd, or ,,,,,,,,,choice, but as a small business owner I thank God I voted for him, and that he is the President. I don’t think my other choices would have done so much so fast. The left just can’t grasp a politician who keeps a campaign promise.

So far I don’t have a problem with anything he has done, I don’t think any of the EOs have overreached. It must feel good as a business owner to know the President is on your side.

We have been waiting for the Republican Congress to take action for 8 years. However, the Rep and Dem are the same party. They are parties of the elite and they will not take any action that is not in their self interest.
How does a President communicate policy to his department heads and the public? Obama created a situation where laws were not enforced or selectivly enforced. Now this has to be undone. The visa ban on the seven countries were countries Obama had placed travel restrictions on. Congress gave the President the power under the Immigration and Nationality Act to control immigration.
