Is the United States Government developing vulnerabilities in software and intentionally keeping them open?
That sounds like a stupid question but is it true? Edward Snowden is pouring through the thousands of pages of CIA spying documents dumped by Wikileaks earlier today and he claims they look legitimate and this is the big news to come out of them so far. Here is what he had to say via Twitter:
The CIA reports show the USG developing vulnerabilities in US products, then intentionally keeping the holes open. Reckless beyond words.
— Edward Snowden (@Snowden) March 7, 2017
If this is true why would the government be involved in a nefarious scheme such as this? Well, if the government knows where the vulnerabilities are they will also know how to exploit them, won’t they? But of course the government would never use these vulnerabilities to spy on Americans, right? And even if the government did not, it is–as Edward Snowden pointed out–reckless beyond words because it leaves us vulnerable to foreign attacks.

We will be done in by our own hand in the end. I have no doubt.

Yes we will, the question is: are they doing this on purpose?

That is the ultimate question.

Here is a reply from Apple
“ While our initial analysis indicates that many of the issues leaked today were already patched in the latest iOS, we will continue to work rapidly address any identified vulnerabilities. We always urge customers to download the latest iOS to make sure they have the most recent security updates.”
The big question is: Why do we need the CIA, NSA if they are working for a corrupt non ekected global elite? End all government funding of spying.

That is a great question if you ask me!

So once again Trump is right. The CIA was spying on him. Yes I know Trump said “wire tap” and Comedy and the rest of the Deep State are playing semantics claiming there was no wire tap. Trump needs to invite the Russian and Chinese to visit Langley.

Yeah, he used the wrong word and that is what the MSM will jump on but he was right.
