Sunday, April 2nd open thread: ‘Do I Wanna Know?’
Here is the open thread for Sunday, April 2nd. Please feel free to post links to interesting articles and to discuss whatever issues arise during the course of the day. Nothing is off-topic here.
Last week we discussed 10 stories, did you miss any of them? If so there is an easy way to make sure it does not happen again. I understand that all of you are busy and cannot always find the time to check the blog for updates so why not subscribe to America’s Watchtower and receive email updates whenever I write a new post? The Twitter widget in the sidebar is fully interactive. This widget updates my tweets in real time and allows you to respond to or retweet my tweets right from the blog. It also allows you to tweet me right from America’s Watchtower. How cool is that! If you do not have a Twitter account what better reason do you need to sign up for one!

Fake News and Hoaxes = a word that’s lost it’s meaning, the Lie.
I was thinking that it’s a smart move on Trump’s part to call those speaking lies and disinformation ‘Fake News’ broadcasters instead of Liars. We’ve been so ‘numb’ to the use of the word liar (because liars call people telling the truth, liars), that coming up with a ‘new way’ of stating it to get people’s attention – that something isn’t ‘spot on’ – other words are having to be used. Those too will be ‘corrupted’ in time by the corrupter’s.
If only we people could be like that little fish and just be and do who the Creator God designed and intended! Much more Beautiful and Lovely!

Great videos! Whenever I see videos like this, or just ponder how everything in nature works together, I cannot help but think there is no way all of this just happened. Every creature has a purpose no matter how small and it was all put in place by God. To think this was all a random act over time is something I can not accept.

Hadn’t heard them before Steve, interesting voice and sound. I suppose somethings we’d rather not know but have to ~ for our own good and sanity of mind – soundness of heart.
Re Previously Deported Illegal Sex Offender Arrested Near U.S. Border: “That’s not racist to say, it’s reality.” “In this fiscal year alone, over 100 sex offenders have been caught at the Rio Grande border sector. How many do you think avoided capture and are now safe and sound in a sanctuary city near you?”
They can be considered ‘containment – or holding cells’ for gathering them up. Does it take some Dem*s being raped and killed for them to ’see’ – or those who are left to ’see’ the reality of how they’ve been hoodwinked?
Because people want so much to have or ‘make’ things be right (in their own view of what’s right and good), the reality of this world must be denied or changed, to make this happen. If God says this world has been cursed (Gen 3) and we who ‘want to be gods’ are born with a sin nature (separated from God in our thinking and desires), how can this Utopia come to be? How can ‘the fallen’ create something other than what or who they are? We find that the Utopia each one of us desires doesn’t seem to line up w/ the Utopia those ‘powers that be’ are driven to construct. (Tower of Babel revised.) They are still on the top governing, even more, and the masses on the bottom, happy and content ’seeing it their way’ – stripped of any real reason or truth of what’s going on … and when told ‘disbelief’ kicks in, keeping the enslaved, bound and in order. “Our gov. wouldn’t lie to us!” “Those in authority are doing for our good!” (except Pres. Trump of course).

I have always loved the Orwell quote on truth becoming revolutionary that was in this video. What is truth is a question even Pilot asked and it is a question which has been asked since the ancient times but we know what the truth is. It is not subjective as many of the philosophers believe. I am the way, the truth, and the life. Pretty cut and dried…
