Donald Trump reverses Barack Obama’s drilling ban

April 29, 2017

With all of the focus surrounding Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office–an artificial media deadline I find silly and overblown–this story slipped under the radar yesterday. Donald Trump signed an Executive Order which reverses some of the drilling bans Barack Obama put in place in his last days in office.

  Here is more:

President Donald Trump on Friday signed a new executive order on an America-First Offshore Energy Strategy as he proclaimed, “It’s going to lead to a lot of great wealth for our country and a lot of great jobs for our country.”

This is a great day for American workers and families, and today we’re unleashing American energy and clearing the way for thousands and thousands of high-paying American energy jobs. Our country is blessed with incredible natural resources, including abundant offshore oil and natural gas reserves. But the federal government has kept 94 percent of these offshore areas closed for exploration and production.  And when they say closed, they mean closed.

This deprives our country of potentially thousands and thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in wealth. I pledged to take action, and today I am keeping that promise.

  And here is more:

The President stated that the order initiates “opening offshore areas to job-creating energy exploration,” which reverses an Obama Administration Arctic leasing ban. “It reverses the previous administration’s Arctic leasing ban, and directs Secretary Zinke to allow responsible development of offshore areas that will bring revenue to our Treasury and jobs to our workers.”

Trump added that the order, “will enable better scientific study of our offshore resources and research that has blocked everything from happening for far too long.” The result, according to Trump, will be energy cost reduction and job creation, while making the country more secure and energy independent.

“It’s going to lead to a lot of great wealth for our country and a lot of great jobs for our country,” said Trump.

It is nice to see a President who is willing to use our resources to help create thousands of jobs in the energy field and fight to bring down energy costs after eight years of a President who made it his goal to shut down the coal industry with a policy he admitted would cause energy costs to “necessarily skyrocket.”

A big mistake my friend. The jobs are being created in the renewable industries at a much faster rate than the traditional fossil fuel ones.

On shore production costs are also considerably cheaper than offshore so this EO won’t make a great deal of difference anyway.

Smart investors will follow the money i.e. renewables. They know that this refocusing on fossil fuels is only for a limited time span under a Trump presidency.

I think you need to research your facts before praising the ex-real estate salesman in this way.

Anti-coal was Billy Clinton’s deal too – another “land grabber”. That’s their deal, steal and pillage, raping as they go along their merry way (literally). When people said they didn’t want ‘Bari to succeed’ it had to do with his prescribed bent on destruction and ruin (raping as he went along, just like Clinton). The Dem*s were so sure they had the election rigged for Hilly – this would’ve continued on down the hell ho(le). I’m not for offshore drilling because similar ‘false flags’ can be planned to bring about more ocean destruction (that whole deal was sin against nature and humanity). Putting ‘trust’ in people to do what’s right (in a world that continues to bamboozle the definition) isn’t wise when there’s so many (pathetic lowlifes) in high positions with too much to lose – who’ll do anything and everything they can to keep their power, control and $$$$.
When Clinton closed the coal industry in Teton area, where he vacationed, it was made a bit clearer why when this was noted: “This year the Clintons are staying at Valley House, the shake-shingled, 8,000-square-foot villa of Senator John D. Rockefeller 4th, the West Virginia Democrat whose grandfather bought and then donated to the Government the pristine land that became Grand Teton National Park.” Rockefeller’s ring a bell of Globalist Elite .. Rothschild anyone … NEWSWikiLeaks’ Clinton Emails Show Rothschild, Rockefeller Partnership http://www.anonews.co/hillarys-elite-relation/
Probably safe to say undoing anything/everything puppet Bari did would make good sense.
