Kim Jong-un backs down on missile threat

August 15, 2017

Tensions have been rising over the last several days with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un threatening to launch missiles at Guam and with Donald Trump’s stern warning against such a provocative action. But today the tensions eased as Kim Jong-un backed down, here is more:

The tense stand-off between North Korea and the United States eased today as Kim Jong-un appeared to back off over his threat to target missiles at waters near Guam.

But the rogue regime’s leader warned he could change his mind “if the Yankees persist in their extremely dangerous reckless actions”.

Pyongyang’s state media reported that while Kim had decided against firing four missiles at the US territory in the Pacific Ocean for now, the launch could still happen at any time.

For days the media has portrayed the world as being on the brink of nuclear war although neither Kim Jong-un nor Donald Trump mentioned nuclear war; while this was a dire situation it was a mischaracterization by the media intended to show Donald Trump’s fiery rhetoric was irresponsible and responsible for heightening tensions with North Korea.

The media, and the Democrats for that matter, used Donald Trump’s “fire and fury” comment to attack the President while neglecting the fact Kim Jong-un’s threat was what provoked this response in the first place. It is interesting to note the left sided with Kim Jong-un over Donald Trump…

Between Donald Trump’s “fire and fury” comment, the United Nations voting unanimously to sanction North Korea, China saying they would not support North Korea if they fired first, and General Mattis’s tough talk Kim Jong-un had no option but to back down and he did.

This has to be considered a major victory for Donald Trump, and for the world, despite the media’s and the Democrats’ claim the President’s rhetoric was going to lead us headlong into WWIII but of course not one reporter asked him about North Korea during today’s press conference.

The problem for Guam is that it is in fear of tipping over last time Congress thought about Guam.. so don’t be surprised… on to bashing Trump.
