Trump aides push amnesty before immigration reform

August 22, 2017

We are beginning to see what a post-Bannon White House looks like: first Donald Trump changed course on Afghanistan and instead of withdrawing from the country as he promised during the campaign we are now poised to send more troops into the country, and today it is being reported that White House aides are pushing the President to grant amnesty to DREAMers and use that as a bargaining chip for a bigger immigration deal.

  Here is more:

Donald Trump’s top aides are pushing him to protect young people brought into the country illegally as children — and then use the issue as a bargaining chip for a larger immigration deal — despite the president’s campaign vow to deport so-called Dreamers.

The White House officials want Trump to strike an ambitious deal with Congress that offers Dreamers protection in exchange for legislation that pays for a border wall and more detention facilities, curbs legal immigration and implements E-verify, an online system that allows businesses to check immigration status, according to a half-dozen people familiar with situation, most involved with the negotiations.

We all know if the President grants amnesty before immigration reform that is where it will end, there will be no immigration reform. If however amnesty for DREAMers and a larger immigration bill is pursued at the same time there is a chance, albeit I do not think a great one, that something will finally be done about illegal immigration.

Is this a good trade off? It could be provided no further DREAMers are allowed to enter the country without going through the proper channels but I do not think the Democrats or the establishment Republicans want any part of stopping illegal immigration and this is why both must be done within the same bill. There is no give now for a little take later, the take will never come.

The usual suspects are at play here:

The group includes former and current White House chiefs of staff, Reince Priebus and John Kelly, the president’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, and her husband, Jared Kushner, who both serve as presidential advisers, they said. Others who have not been as vocal publicly about their stance but are thought to agree include Vice President Mike Pence, who as a congressman worked on a failed immigration deal that called for citizenship, National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster and Gary Cohn, a Democrat who serves as director of the National Economic Council.

It looks like the globalists have won…

Yep, not encouraging is it. One person’s dream can be another person’s nightmare.
Reminds me of the Matrix Steve.
My question would be what’s in it for them: “top aides are pushing him to protect young people brought into the country illegally as children …”
I’d fire the lot of them and put you in charge of this, put Brit in charge of security (DHS) – replacing AG Sessions, CJ as international foreign affairs (FBI too), Peter … hmmm… over FDA, EPA and those that are run by the CIA Globals, Bunker, internal military, since he likes bunkers … you get the drift. Oh, and kdocburgess over media, he seems to have a way with few words that say alot. Swiss of course would work as the music man correspondent 😉 Get Lou back to monitor the Medical/Pham, big job but she could do it!
Thank God for God ~ He has more patience than me! 🙂 I wouldn’t have let it go on this long!

He’s right about it being too late, by the time we find out about something like remotely controlling the brain it is already in place.

Yep Steve, all the while we were going along ‘believing’ and ‘doing’ as we ‘thought right’ or ‘right enough’ turns out to be founded on a faulty base and premise. The Bible tells right off we live a fallen world with a nature that rebells agains the Living God, what else is to ‘bloom and grow’ from that? Just what we’re seeing. Psalms 36:4 He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

The Bible warned us of all this and yet most people do not even know what the Bible says!

Pretty scary isn’t it Peter. I always have the GPS on my phone off but when I search something on Google my Google always has a link at the bottom with my location on it. They can track us through what wifi network we are on. We can run but we cannot hide.

“Addicts of a debased nature” I like that term and it fits perfectly.

That guy nailed it! It is a slow process so people won’t even see it. Just as Madison said, “I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power, than by violent and sudden usurpations.”

Yep, Madison knew. I’d not heard “usurpations” used before but it makes sense: _an act of usurping; wrongful or illegal encroachment, infringement, or seizure. 2. illegal seizure and occupation of a throne._ That is so like the ‘test tube’ plant of that last CIA (shadow gov.) usurp prez, of anti-Americanism. Sickening. Sin makes people not only crazy but addicts of a debased nature. It doesn’t matter if a person is ‘basically good or rotten’ if their core is ‘sin based’ so will their fruit – some more spoiled and stinking (death) than others.

I think Trump has come to the conculsion the Republicans in Congress are all talk and no action after the health care disaster. His only hope is to find some middle group coalition that will be willing to work with him.

McConnell, Schumer, Ryan and Pelosi are screwing the American public

I think you are right about that. The Republicans are not going to work with Trump and so he is moving on.

As I wrote previously, the best thing that has happened for the democrats and the left since the Kennedy assassination is the defeat of pant suit lady last November.
