CBS fires executive for tweeting she doesn’t have sympathy for Vegas victims because country music fans are ‘often Republicans’

October 2, 2017

What bothers me the most in the aftermath of a horrific event such as what happened in Las Vegas last night, besides of course the senseless loss of life, is how quickly people pick sides and set up the defense of their political positions while seemingly forgetting that people died and others are suffering. They are putting their own beliefs first and in doing so are minimizing what actually happened–even if they think they are doing the opposite, and neither side is innocent.

You cannot go on Facebook today and not see what I am talking about. Sure, there are many people posting their condolences but many others are more interested in making this a political issue before all of the facts are in. I find this mindset to be disturbing, they are making the shooting about themselves and their ideology.

I did not intend to write anything about this story tonight for fear of falling into the same trap, and I still hesitate to do so, however a CBS executive posted something on Twitter which was so disgusting that I cannot ignore it.

Hayley Geftman-Gold tweeted earlier today that she was not sympathetic to the victims because country music fans are often “Republican gun toters.” So much for a non-biased media…

In other words these people deserved what happened to them because they were most likely Trump supporters. This is a sick mentality and shows a lack of the compassion liberals are supposedly famous for. She was fired today for her tweet but this is not the first time we have seen this in recent weeks.

We saw it after the hurricanes in Houston and Florida when liberals claimed it was karma coming back to bite Trump supporters. We are seeing it now in Puerto Rico as well.

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. (2 Corinthians 1:2,4 KJV)

Sadly this lesson has been lost on us. I pray for the victims and their families and I hope that one day they are able to find peace and comfort in their time of need in the wake of such a senseless day.

Probably the wrong ones … Those who really NEED the refining don’t want it. Like burning wood, hay and stubble, not gold and silver.

The only thing more surprising than CBS firing this stereotypical former Columbia Law School grad is that she has yet to be hired by CNN or MSLSD.

It is the climate of hatred. It began when one side started calling the other side names and began dehumanizing them. Once you have dehumanized someone, you can do almost anything to them. Check up the history of Hitler’s propaganda against the Poles and the Jews long before he attacked anyone.

I will blame the Liberals for starting the current wave of hatred.

During the Monica Lewinsky/Clinton Impeachment scandal, I was with a group of Liberals and made the mistake of saying that even if the impeachment was politically driven b.s., Clinton had very publicly given them the legal grounds to do it. A couple of the Liberals began yelling various names and accusations at me, while one of them had to be held down from physically attacking me.

I kinda miss the days when being a Liberal meant you were liberal.

Proving out Dr. Jeff that their base is ‘tainted and emotional’ not on a premise of soundness or reason. They’re emotional stunted by the ‘evil powers’ making them easier to manipulate and do their bidding.
When Fred and Ginger danced it was a gay old time and people clapped liberally.
Liberal (1828 Webster’s): Of a free heart; free to give or bestow; not close or contracted; munificent; bountiful; generous; giving largely; as a liberal donor; the liberal founders of a college or hospital. It expresses less than profuse or extravagant.
** Not selfish, narrow on contracted; catholic; enlarged; embracing other interests than one’s own; as liberal sentiments or views; a liberal mind; liberal policy.
More evidence of the flipping the world upside-down.

I like how you used the 1828 Webster’s! I have a copy of it (although it is newly printed so I don’t know how close it really is to the real thing) that I picked up when I read founding father writings to see what some of the words meant when they were written. It is interesting how some words mean the exact opposite of what they used to and it is not always done accidentally.

Yep, reminds me Steve of the Nimrod Tower of Babel (they wanted “of POWER!) “And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.” Gen 11:1 (like one collective mindset: same language and ‘interpretation’ of speech). God divided them into groups, nationalities and gave them each their own language = the liars don’t like that truth at all!

An interesting comparison Zip! God confused the language as punishment for trying to reach heaven and now we have people confusing the language to gain power. Nothing really changes, does it?

You’ve got that right Dr. Jeff. I just don’t know when we got to the point where you cannot have a difference of opinion with another person and not be able to have a discussion without being attacked.

Will this be proven out (as Sandy Hook was) to be an exercise of the NDAA which was passed (the bill signed & approved in 2013 but has been going on for years and years). The NDAA Legalizes the Use of Propaganda (and PsyOps) on United States Citizens

There are questions in my mind about this being a lone shooter as well. Just the two windows which were blown out raise questions in my mind. Thanks for sharing this.

I heard about this on Larry Elder. Of course I was disgusted when I heard it, but after hearing Larry, it was, as said here, expected. The only question was how many would say these vile things, and what would happen to them. THERE IS NO DOWNSIDE ON THE LEFT IF YOU SAY SUCH A THING. The left is the judge, jury and executioner. and they will always protect their own.

It really isn’t surprising at all is it?! We can expect more and more of this in the coming days, it is only going to ramp up.

John Adams once said, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Boy was he ahead of his time!

So, out of interest, it immediately struck me that many in the Republican party are solidly behind the right to bear arms, so how do they continue to validate this stance given this horrendous massacre in Las Vegas? This individual underwent the background checks that – according to the NRA and the Republic party – are supposed to be more than adequate.

I’m afraid you cannot separate the politics from the sympathy as more events like this are inevitable. President Obama tried to reform the gun laws on semi-automatic weapons and got nowhere because of Republican resistance – so who, then, is to blame for this horrific event, and why do events such as this not happen in the ROW?

You seem to have missed the main point of this post. It is not about politics and assigning blame but the blame falls solely on the person who committed the crime. That being said, Barack Obama’s biggest reform was to deny people with mental disabilities the ability to purchase firearms and this person would have passed that check as well.
I see no need to validate the stance that law abiding people have the right to bear arms just because one individual illegally modified his weapons. How do we stop people from illegally modifying weapons? That is a question I do not have an answer for.

Got this at from Truth is Stranger Than Fiction a ‘real witness’ who was there seeing it all and filming, you hear a female say these two statements. NDAA at work. Even if it were ‘a real’ shooting ~ they (dark deep 💩state) would be involved and feel themselves “justified” in doing so. That’s the perversion and sickness of the Liar’s foundation (serpent) being propagated on this Nation and the face of the world.
