Hillary Clinton condemns Harvey Weinstein, what is she going to do with his donations?

  I suppose when you are “married” to an alleged serial sex abuser it is hard to understand what all the Harvey Weinstein hubbub is all about, that is the only reason I can come up with for why it took Hillary Clinton nearly a week to condemn the actions over decades of one of her campaign contributors. But today she finally condemned Harver Weinstein, here is more:

Hillary Clinton said Tuesday she is “shocked and appalled” by sexual assault and harassment allegations against movie mogul-Democratic donor Harvey Weinstein.

“The behavior described by women coming forward cannot be tolerated,” the former secretary of State said in a statement. “Their courage and the support of others is critical in helping to stop this kind of behavior.”

  However, to date the former Presidential candidate did not say whether or not she would keep his donations:

In the statement, Clinton did not say whether her campaign would donate contributions she had received from Weinstein. A spokesman for Clinton did not immediately respond to questions from CNBC about the donations.

  I have to believe she is hoping to keep the donations and that is why she did not use this opportunity to announce she was either donating or returning the money. I do believe eventually, as pressure mounts, she will reluctantly turn over the money. Although, knowing the greed of the Clinton’s, one has to wonder if she actually cares about the optics of keeping the money.

  What I am about to write now is not all that original, most conservatives are saying the same thing, however the hypocrisy of the left on this issue cannot be ignored so here goes.

  The Democrats in general, Hillary Clinton in particular, and Hollywood have been attacking Donald Trump for months over a stupid, arrogant, and disgusting comment he made a decade ago to show he is a misogynist. Yet here we have Harvey Weinstein, a liberal, who actually acted out over decades what Donald Trump only bragged about being able to do, and yet they are only now beginning to reluctantly speak out against it now that it cannot be avoided.

  I have to admit I find Hollywood’s hypocrisy on this issue to be more egregious than Hillary Clinton’s hypocrisy because there are many reports surfacing now which state almost everyone in Hollywood–despite some of their protestations–knew what Harvey Weinstein was up to and did nothing, which allowed him to try to take advantage of more young girls hoping to make a name for themselves in the industry. Hollywood’s so-called morality and outrage over misogyny seems to be quite subjective and directly proportional to the political ideology of the person in question. 

  Some Hollywood elites, such as Rob Reiner, are actually claiming that what Donald Trump said is worse than what Harvey Weinstein did! How are we supposed to debate on a philosophical, intellectual, moral, or even a political level with people whose hearts have been so hardened to the point where they can actually make such an argument in the first place?
